Plenty of natural light flows into the spacious open-plan living space, where guests will find a welcoming lounge with a sofa and a flat-screen TV. This is the perfect place to spend the evening relaxing after a day of hiking in the fresh air and swimming in the cool, refreshing waters of the Soča, one of Europe’s most beautiful rivers. The apartment’s lounge flows harmoniously into the dining area, where everyone can gather to discuss the day’s adventures over a glass of Slovenian wine. The well-appointed kitchen provides guests with modern appliances and plenty of space to prepare memorable meals using the fresh local produce they have discovered.
A minimalist wooden stairway leads to a bright mezzanine hallway with views into the living space below. The apartment’s two comfortable bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds, are on the upper floor. Both of the bedrooms boast charming lofted ceilings with roof lights. The apartment’s modern bathroom features a walk-in shower. Depending upon the apartment’s location within the resort, a private terrace or balcony will be available to guests, providing the ideal spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sunlight. Guests will also have access to a shared outdoor space featuring a sauna, a jacuzzi and an outdoor kitchen.

Whether you wish to spend your holiday exploring Trenta Valley’s tranquil green forests and fairytale towns or wild water kayaking and canyoning, there is something for everyone in this resplendent region of Slovenia.
The River Soča is famous throughout Europe for its emerald-green hue, tempting all those who visit to plunge into its restorative waters for a revitalising swim, surrounded by stunning scenery. Your friendly hosts at will be very glad to advise you regarding the river’s safe and inviting swimming spots. For a walk to remember, the trekking trail to the Lepena Valley will guide you along the river’s basins, all the way to a secluded forest path leading to the cascading waters and charming wooden bridges of the magical Šunik Water Grove. From the apartment, this walk takes approximately one hour. You will be tempted to stay here all afternoon, soaking up the sunshine through the trees whilst taking photos of the picturesque waterfall and the woodland around you.
Triglav National Park and its beautiful valleys have an abundance of outstanding hiking spots to offer visitors, with diverse landscapes and trails varying in intensity. For spectacular vistas of the Vrsnik Valley, hike from Residence Soča to Planina nad Sočo, where the dense forests and lush green countryside will be sure to delight.
Electric mountain bikes are available to rent at Residence Soča, providing guests with the chance to take in more wondrous sights. For an enjoyable challenge, why not ascend to the heights of the Vršič pass? Not for the faint-hearted, this is one of the most formidable alpine bike routes in Slovenia, boasting panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The pass can also be traversed by car, so if you would prefer to drive to one of many scenic viewpoints, make sure to pack a picnic full of delicious local produce to enjoy.
Less than twelve kilometres away from your apartment, the small and lively town of Bovec has become known as Slovenia’s ‘adrenaline capital’, with an exciting array of water-based activities to offer visitors. Bovec is also the perfect example of a traditional alpine town, where you can enjoy a leisurely dinner at a friendly local inn or sit with a coffee and take in the atmosphere of Bovec Square, the setting for a feast of summer events. History enthusiasts can also visit the nearby Ravelnik Outdoor Museum.
Glacial Lake Bled is an hour and a half away for a truly special day trip. Visit the town’s well-known cliffside castle or rent a rowboat and make your way to the lake’s fairytale island, before indulging in lunch at a local restaurant. After another invigorating day outdoors, head back to Residence Soča in time for sunset and unwind in the garden by the fire, with a glass of the excellent regional wine.
