For something a little different, you can also visit local beekeepers and honey producers, where you can taste some of the natural goodness that Brda’s bees have produced.

The bustling Italian port of Trieste is also within driving distance, so city lovers have the option to stroll along the streets before stopping off for a coffee at the iconic Caffè San Marco. From here, you can drive to the Lipica Stud Farm, a specially protected area of natural beauty that is home to over three hundred mesmerising Lipizzan horses.
