Set on a hillside in a residential area of Benissa and Calpe, Villa Erico is a beautiful private villa and pool just one kilometre from the beach.
Sleeping six guests, you have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The light and airy interior welcomes you into the large and impressive open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. Villa Erico has a cosy, relaxed feel to it, and the living room features a wood-burning fire for off-season holidays. This apartment-style space will make it so easy to spend time together, during your family holiday on the Costa Blanca.
Walk through an archway at one end and you’ll discover the delightful sun room. The pleasing curved outer wall and oversized arched windows (there are three of them!) look out onto the pool terrace and bask under the warm Spanish sun.
Your outdoor covered terrace flanks your private pool and barbecue – ensuring your enjoyment of the Mediterranean lifestyle with lunches on the terrace and al fresco dinners. The gardens and terrace around the pool is well cared for with whitewashed walls, palm trees and potted plants. There are sun loungers for everyone, an outdoor shower to wash away the heat of the afternoon and tables and chairs for your family barbecue, pool-side.
The view from Villa Erico is quite stunning. A word of warning - if you’re planning on reading lots of books on holiday, this will be a distraction. It’s so colourful. You have the bright blue sky, Benissa’s amazingly green hills and terracotta rooftops dotted throughout. All this stretching out in view of your private terrace and pool. Bliss!
What you should know…
- It’s only a kilometre to the beach but we recommend hiring a car to explore everything the Costa Blanca has to offer
- Whilst the nearest restaurant is within walking distance, please be aware that it is along quiet roads that do not have pavements
- The swimming pool is not fened, so children should be supervised at all times
- To enter the interior of the property, guests will have to walk up a set of stairs from street level

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa EricoThe location of Villa Erico is perfect for trips to the beach, stocking up at the supermarket, or visiting shops and restaurants. La Fustera’s beach and centre is just one kilometre away. The beach is sandy, the sea is crystal clear and as it’s set in a sheltered bay, you can easily swim and even snorkel near the edges.
To discover more of Benissa’s beautiful coves and beaches, drive along the coastal road between Moraira and Calpe. Most towns have a marina or fishing port, where you’ll find waterfront bars and restaurants. From here you can watch the comings and goings of boats, try your hand at water sports and dine on locally caught seafood.
For a day’s sightseeing, drive twenty minutes inland to Benissa. As one of Costa Blanca’s oldest towns, it’s a popular tourist spot and easy to see why. The medieval streets, houses, town hall and market square were renovated about forty years ago, making it a charming old quarter to stroll around today. Benissa likes a fiesta and has a busy social calendar. Look out for patron saint celebrations during the summer, food markets, music concerts and street theatre.
At 275 metres above sea level, your journey back to Villa Erico is down steep, winding roads. Be sure to stop off however, to catch your breath and then have it taken away again by the panoramic views. The mountains, picturesque countryside and Mediterranean Sea in the distance are well worth admiring before heading back to your private pool for a cooling dip. Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Erico is perfect for families. Sleeping six guests, it will accommodate a large family or extended family group. You have lots of outdoor space - a private pool, lovely outdoor terrace and a second paved terrace at the front of the property. Indoors, the open-plan kitchen, living and dining room is a wonderful space for sharing times and meals together.
There's a tennis club nearby and you’re only one kilometre from La Fustera beach which is great for days out with children. The bay is sheltered so you can snorkel in the sea and there’s a playground and restaurant beside the beach. Older children can try water sports from Club Nautico Les Basettes in the next bay or for bigger thrills, take the thirty-minute drive to Benidorm. Here you’ll find Europe’s biggest theme park, or water parks and zoos.
