The beautiful Casa Finlandia is located in a quiet residential area of Calpe just a short walk from the sandy shores of Playa de La Fossa. This bright, spacious villa easily accommodates eight guests, offering plenty of room both inside and out for you to enjoy time with your loved ones. The villa has two independent floors, connected by an external staircase, so if you are travelling with two families, or have grown children that want a little extra privacy, the layout is perfect!

Inside, white walls reflect the sunshine that streams in through various windows, creating bright and airy living spaces with a completely relaxed atmosphere. This is the kind of villa where you can turn up, drop your bags and instantly settle in; a home away from home. The ground floor hosts a spacious open plan living room, with a television, cosy sofa, dining table and a well-equipped kitchen. Fairly minimalist in its décor, there is room for your whole group to spread out and relax, laughing around the dining table, chatting in the kitchen and relaxing on the sofas after a long day at the beach! A separate sunroom leads off this space where you can sit with your morning coffee, reading a book and embracing that relaxed holiday feeling. A family bathroom and a large double bedroom complete this floor, with a separate sofa bed should you need it.

Stepping up to the first floor via the external staircase, the villa opens into a second open plan living area. A little shorter this time, this bright room accommodates a small kitchen, dining table and a sofa. There are two fabulous en-suite bedrooms on this floor, with all three rooms boasting access to a sunny terrace where you can gaze out over the beautiful Peñón de Ifach!

Outside, Casa Finlandia offers a sequence of charming living spaces, in fact, from the driveway a terrace wraps around the entire villa with loads of room to enjoy the sun. Nestled into the corner of the terrace, a built-in barbecue and covered dining area provide an atmospheric dining area and we wouldn’t be surprised if you ate all your meals out here! At the back of the villa, the private pool takes pride of place, bordered by sun loungers, trees and luscious greenery – what more could you want!

Location, location, location! Casa Finlandia is located in a quiet residential area of Calpe just a short walk from the sandy shores of Playa de La Fossa, a myriad of bustling local restaurants and the town of Calpe itself. 600 meters from an Aldi supermarket, you will find everything you need nearby, so you can simply turn up and relax, settling straight into your holiday pace of life.

Calpe itself is a popular holiday spot, just an hour’s drive from Alicante and 30-minutes from Benidorm, you can enjoy all the peace and tranquillity of Costa Blanca with fantastic attractions and busy towns nearby. The Costa Blanca stretches 200 kilometres up the Mediterranean coast, offering beautiful beaches, fabulous seaside resorts and most importantly a reliable climate, with average temperatures of 20 degrees centigrade throughout the year! 

Popular with beach makers as well as those after an active holiday, the area offers everything from sandy beaches and coastal walks, to water sports and theme parks! A short walk from Casa Finlandia you will find Calpe’s picturesque salt flats where you can spend an afternoon spotting a colourful variety of migratory birds including pink flamingo, coots, redfish, stilts and grey heron.

La Fossa beach, a 20-minute walk from the villa’s front door is classified as one of the best blue flag beaches in Spain, boasting crystal-clear seawater and sandy shores; an idyllic place to spend the day! A promenade is stretching along the beach, with various shops and restaurants where you can taste some delicious food and wine, characteristic of the local area. Meat, fish, rice and olive oil are typical of the region, so you can expect to find plenty of them on the menus. From Calpe Marina you can hire a boat for the day to explore the Costa Blanca coastline – this is popular for families. Steering your way into private coves and hidden beaches to swim, snorkel and explore; it’s a real adventure. You can also try water-skiing, windsurfing and plenty of water sports, just make sure you take photos!

Alongside the fabulous restaurants, handy supermarkets and shops, Calpe has all the other conveniences you need, with a post office, bank and other specialist shops. With a cinema, aquatic centre and fitness centre, we’re sure you’ll find everything you need, or the large town of Benidorm is never far away.

Boasting long sandy beaches, energetic towns, adventure parks and a plethora of attractions, the Costa Blanca is particularly popular for family holidays. Casa Finlandia is all about location, just an hour drive from Alicante, 30-minutes from Benidorm and most importantly a short walk from the family favourite, La Fossa Beach!

The villa itself is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, with very little traffic on the surrounding streets you can rest assured your kids will be safe and the gated entry keeps the villa secure. Spread across two floors, joined by an external staircase, please bear in mind you will have to carry a pram up to get into the property. The interiors are welcoming and relaxed, with two open plan living spaces and spacious bedrooms where you can all enjoy quiet moments alone. A cot and a highchair can, of course, be provided, but it will be at a small added cost, please see the T&C’s for details.

Outside the spacious terrace wraps around the entire villa, with plenty of space to run and play. Kids will be delighted to dine al-fresco and help with the barbecue, bringing an added adventure to family meals. Of course, we expect they won’t waste any time in getting their swimmers on and jumping into the private pool – a few inflatables add heaps of fun making it hard to get them out of the water at times!

The surrounding town of Calpe has plenty to entertain families and especially children. With La Fossa, one of Spain’s best ‘blue-flag’ beaches just a 20-minute walk away you can enjoy long days on the sandy shore, assured that the water is clean and safe for your little ones. There are a cinema, fitness centre and aquarium, as well as an array of delicious restaurants that are well versed at catering for kids.

A 30-minute drive away, on the outskirts of Benidorm, you will find all the attractions that bring delight to any kid’s summer holiday! Terra Mítica is a popular theme park, and the zoo theme park of Terra Natura is really popular with animal lovers! Aqua Natura Waterpark will have kids and adults alike thrilled, boasting 40,000m² of wave pools, water slides, children's pools and beach areas, keeping everyone well entertained for a day. For older and younger children alike, the Algar Waterfalls are great to visit, and kids can even take a dip in the natural pools!

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit Credit card details are required 2 weeks prior to departure for pre-authorisation.
Arrival time Between 4-7 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Pool towels included? Beach towels are an extra €5 per towel, paid locally. Please request these during the booking process.
End of stay cleaning included? Extra €192, payable to Oliver's Travels with the balance payment. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights.
Changeover day Saturday during high season.
Pets welcome? On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €50 per pet will apply (paid locally).
Smoking Allowed? Smoking & vaping are not permitted.
