Villa Ida is a beautifully stylish holiday home sitting in an elevated position that overlooks the town of Calpe on the Costa Blanca. The sea and mountain views from the villa and its balconies are just stunning and only beaten by those from numerous terraces around the extensive grounds.
With a mix of classic, traditional Spanish influences to the decor and luxury furnishings throughout, this villa is an extremely comfortable holiday base. The large, distinctive-shaped windows let light flood the interior and patio doors bring the outside in.
Villa Ida's ample accommodation is set over two levels. There are two stunning open-plan living/dining rooms that both offer sociable spaces to enjoy with the family. Both have a range of comfortable sofas and chairs to relax on as you watch films on the television, with a sofa bed that provides additional and flexible sleeping options. Both spaces also feature a dining table that seats up to four people.
The beamed living/dining room also has a rustic fireplace as an excellent focal point. Doors in both spaces provide access outside, and the numerous windows offer beautiful views. The kitchen has an impressive, almost cathedral-like look and feels with its large windows and door to a charming terrace with outdoor furniture.
With comprehensive facilities that include a fridge-freezer, coffee machine, toaster and juicer, there's everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's also a breakfast bar for a quick coffee in the mornings before going on days out.
Three air-conditioned bedrooms each have a double bed, and a fourth bedroom features two single beds. There are two shared showers for all guests to use freely.
The enclosed plot includes outdoor furniture for both dining and relaxing across various terraces over various levels. The main terrace features a private swimming pool, sun loungers, a dining table and a barbecue for the chefs of the family to whip up a feast!
What you should know…
- There are stairs between street level and the villa and between the villa and garden, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users
- The pool is not fenced, so children should be supervised at all times

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa IdaDespite being within a residential area close to the town of Calpe, the villa enjoys peace and privacy. The area around the villa is naturally beautiful, with tree-covered hillsides leading to a stretch of the Costa Blanca and the sea.
Calpe has plenty to offer regarding amenities and things to do. It's just a 5-minute drive down the hillside and into the town from the villa. Here you can stock up on essentials and groceries from the range of shops and supermarkets available. There's also a great choice of restaurants serving international and local cuisines.
Sightseeing in Calpe will have you visiting the old town with its Roman ruins and numerous churches. The pretty streets are also full of atmospheric cafes in which to soak up the local vibe. Head down to one of the stretches of sand and walk along the promenade while enjoying an ice cream. Also a must-see is the various iconic buildings designed by renowned architect Antonio Bofill that are located just 10 minutes away from the villa.
Climb to the top of Penon de Ifach, a rocky outcrop that rises out of the sea by the main beach. It's part of a national park that's home to over 300 species of animal and some rare plants, and there are stunning views over the town and sea to be enjoyed.
Benidorm is approximately 30 minutes from the villa by car, and although it has a reputation for being a rowdy party town, there's plenty for the family here too. On offer are a range of theme and water parks, zoos and beaches. There's also a characterful old town area with local shops selling fascinating goods and squares lined with cafe terraces for a spot of people watching over a delicious lunch.

Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Ida is a great, family-friendly holiday home with plenty of room for everyone to find their favourite place. The children will especially love the novelty of seating and dining on the balcony-style terraces and the main terrace with its charcoal barbecue. The pool is sure to be a hit with those of any age too.
Terra Mitica in Benidorm is around a 30-minute drive from the villa and will provide the whole family will plenty of thrills and spills. This fun amusement park has various areas themed around ancient cultures, including Greek and Roman. Rides aren’t just designed for the adrenaline junkies, as family rides and live shows are also on offer.
The water-based rides are a great way to cool down on a hot day, and there are many opportunities to grab an ice cream or something for lunch from the cafés and restaurants. For something a bit closer, head on down to Calpe, a town with plenty of restaurants and cafes to enjoy and a large stretch of beach to play on.
