Overview
Located in Javea, just below the Montgo mountain area, sits this wonderfully spacious six-bedroom villa. Spread over two floors and with a separate apartment, Villa Caroix has been designed with traditional Spanish charm and features exposed beams, elegant archways, and floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors.
The living areas boast extensive facilities and all the modern comforts you could ask for, including air-conditioning, WiFi, and Bluetooth speakers. On the ground floor, the open-plan kitchen is a delight and is fully kitted out with high-end appliances and a sociable dining table. In the morning, enjoy coffee at the breakfast bar or push open the glass doors and step out onto the terrace. You'll feel your spirits lift as you breathe in the scents of jasmine, rosemary, and lavender as they waft across the garden.
Upstairs, a living room and seating area flow seamlessly together and feature whitewashed walls, neutral tones, and cool marble flooring. Both are flooded with natural light and are perfect spots to unwind with comfortable sofas, chairs, large TV, and huge glass doors that offer up stunning panoramic views of the mountain and valley. Off from the living areas, you'll find five serene bedrooms featuring a mix of double and single beds, and all but one with an en-suite shower.
While the interior is gorgeous, the outdoor area is sublime. Take it easy on one of the many terraces and drink in the far-reaching views or step down to the dazzling swimming pool and cool off in the water. To aid relaxation, there's also a hot tub and barbecue area should you fancy eating al fresco. A separate garden apartment is a bonus (ideal for those who want a little more privacy) and features a games room, cinema room, bathroom, kitchen, and double bedroom, plus a glorious terrace with enough seating for everyone (please see T&Cs).
Kids will also love whiling away the hours in the outdoor games room with its table football, billiards, and darts board or chilling out with music in the tikki house. The property is set in a peaceful location, backed by mountains and close to the popular town of Javea. There is a restaurant within walking distance of the villa, while Javea, with its bars, restaurants, beaches, and coves, is only a 10-minute drive away.
Please note that the owner has plans to change the upstairs living room into a suite with a double bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe for 2025. Get in touch today to find out more information for your booking!

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa CaroixVilla Caroix is nestled in the foothills of the Montgo mountain and is a tranquil place to live on the Costa Blanca. Surrounded by stunning nature, there are many hiking trails for those who want to explore the mountain on foot, while the Montgo Natural Park is roughly a 10-minute drive away. The park is a protected reserve dotted with beautiful wildflowers and shady trees and offers a host of walking and cycling trails that the whole family can enjoy. Alternatively, pack a picnic and spend the day exploring the park's caves and spotting rabbits, lizards, and eagles. Those with a head for heights can climb to the park's summit, where you'll be rewarded with magnificent sea views, and on a clear day, you'll be able to see the island of Ibiza.
Although the rugged location is wonderfully tranquil, the Mediterranean shoreline is just a 15-minute drive away in Javea. Here you'll find sandy beaches, including the popular Playa de Arenal, where you can rent a pedalo or kayak and swim in the calm waters. Younger children will also enjoy its playground and pretty seafront promenade, where they can cool off with ice cream. For excellent snorkelling and diving, head 20 minutes south to Cala Blanca. Here you'll find a pretty cove with clear waters and a nearby chiringuito. Alternatively, head inland and discover Javea's old town brimming with beautiful architecture, arched doorways, Gothic windows, and 15th-century buildings. While here, be sure to visit Javea's museum to learn more about the town's history, then stop for a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants or bars.
In Javea, tennis lovers can also hit a ball at the local tennis courts, while golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the nine-hole golf club, both within a short drive from Villa Caroix. Also worth a visit is Cap de Sant Antoni, about a 15-minute drive from the villa. It's a stunning spot with a lighthouse and sweeping views of the Valencian Coast that is popular amongst visitors to the region.

Costa Blanca is famous for the ‘Brits Abroad’ culture, and it’s understandable why it attracts such crowds throughout the summer months. Guaranteed weather, world-class beaches, tons of family facilities and bumpin’ nightlife is a recipe in popularity. Why not experience a different side of Costa Blanca with a villa holiday?
Here’s some handy tips for the best eats, things to do with groups, family activities and the must-sees for Costa Blanca. You might need two weeks’ holiday after all….
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Caroix is an extensive family home and perfectly set up for indoor and outdoor living. Children will love splashing about in the pool, listening to music in the tiki hut, and eating alfresco at the outdoor table. There's even a hot tub that older children can enjoy.
After a day's activity, kids can chill out in the air-conditioned lounge with their favourite programmes on the TV or find further entertainment in the games room. Here they can choose between racking up the balls for a game of billiards, trying their hand at table football, or enjoying a game of darts. Located in the foothills of Montgo mountain, the surrounding area can be explored on foot or by bicycle, with trails straight from the door.
For a day at the beach, pack the swim things and head for 10 minutes by car to Javea, where you'll find several beautiful sandy beaches and secret coves. Children can swim or snorkel safely in the clear Mediterranean waters, try their hand at watersports or simply build sandcastles on the shore. Afterwards, head to the Arenal waterfront (10 minutes from the villa) and stop for ice cream or sample some local tapas or paella at one of the many restaurants.
The town of Denia is also a good place to spend an afternoon and is a 20-minute drive from the villa. Kids will love Denia's long sandy beaches, and they can safely swim in the sea and hire pedaloes. Be sure to also explore the town's delightful toy museum, where you can view vintage toys, including model trains, cars, and sailboats. Further afield, more fun can be head in Benidorm, a 30-minute drive south from the villa. Kids will love Aqualandia, where they can spend the day whizzing down water slides, riding rapids, and splashing in one of the pools. Alternatively, head to Mundomar animal park and spend the day getting up close to dolphins, sea lions, and flamingos. Make sure to look into these two attractions before visiting them, as they sometimes close during the colder months.

Location, view, peace and seclusion....
The property (both villa and big detached apartment) have the size and potential to make an amazing holiday. It’s a classic Spanish house, almost double a regular house in big plot, that we’ve spent £1000s on and a huge amount of time and effort in bringing up to what it is today.
Do you have a favourite room in the property?
The 'outside' rooms we've created including the plants are lovely. We also love the new open-plan kitchen that opens up through three sets of bifolds onto the huge dinning terrace as well as the games room in the apartment that incldues the pool table and the Ibiza-style terrace with amazing views and white ratan furniture.
For anyone coming to stay is there anything in the surrounding area they should...
Really do?
- Visit the old town (only 2 miles away) and wonder around the classic old (pedestrian only) lanes visiting some of the most amazing and classic tapas and other restaurants.
- Visit the port area; both the marina area and local working fishing port (where you can buy the freshest fish from the market and cook on the villa's barbecue) as well as the 100+ restaurants in this area.
- Visit the Arenal (beach area); a very family friendly and safe huge sandy beach with a pedestrian area featuring 30 or more restaurants and bars. There are a great mix of water sports (motor and none) and you can hire a boat for an hour or day and explore the coast line from the sea.
- Explore the Montgo mountain and national park (situated just above the villa). You can walk up it!
- Drive 30 minutes down the motorway for half or full days out in the attractions in the hills just outside Benidorm (water parks, sea world show, etc).
- Valencia is 60 minutes north, on the motorway. It has a beautiful old town, stunning architecture, (in the old river that used to run through the length of the town), plus many many other attractions.
- Alicante old town is 60 minutes south on the motorway. It has an equally interesting 'old town' with sights, a lovely beach and marina, etc
- Denia is 25 minutes away and is quite a big working town with a huge marina and lots to see. You can hop on a ferry and visit Ibiza or Mallorca for the day!
- Golf in Javea is a must and there are plenty of courses to enjoy!
- Visit some of the local vineyards and taste some of the local wine.
- Cycling is huge here... many very serious cyclists come for warm weather training in the spring and autumn.
Really eat?
- 300+ restaurants! We've probably only tried about 50 and really not had a bad meal once. See our villa guest book for some of our favourites.
- The fish and meat in the local supermarkets are not only very good quality but extremely cheap in comparison with UK prices. Cook them in our new kitchen or on the barbecue outside!
- Tapas in the old town
- Wonder down the road (hill) for 10 minutes to El Goucho, the best steak restaurant in Javea!
Really see?
All the above and more!
What insider tip would you pass on about the property or the area?
- Stock up on food and drink and enjoy the views, peace and things to do in the villa grounds.
- Don’t miss the G&T table at the top of our grounds. You’ll think the views from the pool, jacuzzi and other terraces are amazing. Pop up to the top of the grounds and watch the sun go down from there!
- There are lemons, oranges and grapefruits all growing in the gardens – please help yourself!

Stunning Hidden Gem
Recently returned from a wonderful holiday in this Villa. Perfect for our large family of all ages. The Villa is beautiful , well equipped and very spacious, beds were comfortable. The outdoor area is the loveliest part of this Villa. Large warm pool, plenty of sun beds and amazing views. The jacuzzi was very popular and the outdoor kitchen and seating area were used all the time. A short drive away is beautiful Javea with a lovely safe beach, loads of restaurants and all the amenities you need. Hosts were helpful and communication easy. We will definitely return and would recommend.

What a Find!!
Fell totally in love with Villa Caroix! Fantastic location, up in the mountains offering glorious views, with the dramatic backdrop of mountains behind you. The Villa is really spacious, perfect for large groups, offering different seating areas for all the family members to chill out, teens, adults or all together. Facilities are also fab, we had loads of fun in the pool, jacuzzi and the teens loved the pool table. The rooms are beautifully presented and clean. The beds and pillows are also very comfy. Great beaches, restaurants near by. We particularly like the restaurants that are in walking distance. Great food! A couple of nights we cooked at the villa, which offers such a great home from home experience. The kitchen is big and the cupboards are full of everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend and plan to revisit again SOON!

Stunning Villa
Beautiful villa with stunning views. We were a group of 16 (8 adults & 8 teenagers) and everyone loved it. There was plenty of space for everyone, all the bedrooms are equally lovely. We loved the massive outdoor table by the bbq, the pool area was amazing and the tiki seating area with Bluetooth speaker was great. The kids loved the pool table and lounge area. We hired cars which are definitely needed for shopping and going to the beach but we got taxis if we wanted to go into Javea at night and have a drink. Javea itself is beautiful with a gorgeous sandy beach and lots of great bars and restaurants. The older teenagers made the most of the nightlife, coming home at 6am most mornings! There really is something for everyone, would highly recommend! Also a special mention to Shelley the villa manager who was so helpful and friendly, thanks Shelley!

Luxury Villa
We where lucky enough to stay at Villa Caroix in July, absolutely stunning, with far reaching view to die for. The pool is gorgeous and more sun beds than you could ever need. I particularly enjoyed the tiki seating area by the pool that offer shade with built in fridge and speaker system. The kitchen looks brand new and so stylish, with an indoor and outdoor dining area which seats up 12 people. We never felt the need to leave the villa as it has everything you could wish for on a holiday, there are two very nice restaurants a short walk away, so it was a win win. Would I stay here again? Most definitely worth every penny.

An exceptional and most perfect villa break
We rented this incredible villa for my mum's 60th celebration week during September and we could not have been happier. The villa is just incredible, family-orientated, traditional feel with all the modern touches you require when on holiday. It felt like a home away from home, and with our 10 month old baby, we could not have found anything better. The kitchen has recently been refurbished and when we weren't relaxing by the pool, eating every meal outdoors on the huge table or enjoying music in the tiki hut the kitchen was a great social space whilst cooking and preparing the many barbecue we had. Javea is a very short drive away, El Gaucho was a fantastic restaurant less than a 2-minute drive away and many other brilliant eatery's within the Javea beach area. Would certainly return here again and could not recommend it more!

Perfect villa for a family celebration!
We returned from the villa at the end of August after a two year wait for our holiday due to Covid. It was booked to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday and was certainly worth the wait! The newly renovated outside area is very impressive, as was the barbecue and tiki hut. The beautiful swimming pool was well used by us all, as was the fab hot-tub. A well-equipped kitchen was located perfectly for access to the outside dining area. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated with lovely en-suites. Beds were very comfortable. The air-con, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in the tiki worked perfectly. The steps from the bedrooms to the kitchen and outside area are quite steep, as are the steps down to the apartment, this is worth noting if you have any people in your party that are elderly or have mobility problems. Communication with the owner and manager was excellent and a minor problem of blocked shower in the apartment en-suite was resolved quickly. This is a huge villa complex and I would imagine cleaning between guests is a huge undertaking and we did find some areas that had been missed (around seating area outside the apartment and some glasses and crockery had to be re-washed) but this was a minor inconvenience that did not affect our holiday overall. In summary the villa lived up to our expectations and provided us with a beautiful setting and stunning views for us to make wonderful memories and celebrate with our family.

Beautiful villa
My family and I stayed in this villa back in 2019 and it was such a fantastic trip that we decided to book again this year. We visited in May 2022 and were surprised when we arrived… the whole of the outside had been renovated! Paving, pool, new sofa area/hut and outside kitchen. The main kitchen has also been renovated too! I would highly recommend this villa and the pictures really don’t do it justice, the scenery is truly stunning. The owners/management were very helpful, easy to communicate with and very organised. We are Hoping to visit again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.
