Overview
Whilst enjoying a peaceful setting, Villa Perlarita is just a few minutes' drive from the coast, making it a great base to explore the region's charming towns and picturesque coves.
Situated in a peaceful residential neighbourhood, Villa Perlarita offers a secluded setting to relax around the pool and enjoy the beautiful views of the Mediterranean coast. With picturesque beaches and charming towns nearby, there is plenty to explore or enjoy the sun and a restful break without leaving the Villa.
Located off a quiet residential road, a gated courtyard with high stone walls offers private parking for up to three cars. Arranged over two floors, the Villa is of typical Spanish style, surrounded by leafy palms and rich vegetation that give the feeling of complete privacy. The main living spaces are on the upper level, enjoying an elevated position to make the most of the splendid views.
A spacious living room dominates the upper level, with a tall sloping ceiling and large openings that look out to the landscape and sea beyond. To one side is a dining table, whilst to the other, a couple of sofas and an armchair sit in front of a wood burner, offering a comfortable seating area. To the far end, a neat kitchen is full-equipped with everything to prepare meals throughout your stay, whilst the BBQ outside is an ideal place to enjoy warm summer evenings and cook in the open air for family and friends.
Double doors lead out onto the beautiful terrace from the living room, with a shaded seating area sheltered beneath the overhanging roof. An arrangement of wicker armchairs and loungers is ideal for escaping the midday heat and settling with a book in the shade or gathering together in the evening to share a glass of wine and enjoy a card game whilst watching the sun fade over the sea. There is also a small dining table, perfect for alfresco meals, or why not make a coffee and head out to enjoy the morning sun over breakfast? The large, kidney-shaped pool invites you to cool off with a swim, whilst a couple of sun loungers are perfect for soaking up the sun. Terracotta pots decorate the terrace, whilst the leafy trees and swaying palms create shade patches and a peaceful background. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a swim.
A large double bedroom and bathroom can be found via setup steps leading to the rear of the upper floor. An additional room with a sofa bed is also on this level, whilst the second double room can be found downstairs with an adjacent bathroom. There is also a large shared family bathroom.
What you should know…
- It is worth noting that the second bedroom on the upper floor features a sofa bed
- Whilst two of the bedrooms contain air conditioning, the third is cooled by a fan, but sitting on the lower ground floor, it is sheltered from the day's heat
- The swimming pool is not fenced, so children should be supervised at all times

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa PerlaritaWhilst enjoying a peaceful setting, Villa Perlarita is just a few minutes' drive from the coast, making it a great base to explore the region's charming towns and picturesque coves.
Sitting on the coast, the lovely town of Moraira is just over a half-hour walk, or jump in the car and reach the centre in 5 minutes. Originally a tiny fishing village, the town has developed into a popular little resort with a handful of sandy beaches and several bars and restaurants to enjoy. You can wander through the Old Town and explore its network of cobbled streets and traditional whitewashed houses, and pass by the central square to admire the Iglesia Fortaleza de Santa Catalina with its grand nave and beautiful interior. Head to the seafront to discover a reconstruction of the historic castle, or walk along the El Portet, where you can follow a trail out to the 16th Watchtower. Sat atop the Mount of Cap D'Or, the circular defence sits at 11m tall, and its strategic position on the cliff top offers spectacular views along the coast. Head to the marina to enjoy a bite to eat at one of the restaurants lining the waterfront. Enjoy freshly grilled fish at the locally-owned Pescador, or to try some traditional tapas, head back to the castle to the charming Terra Vian. Sat on the street corner, this delightful wine bar has a quality menu of typical plates which you can enjoy on the outside tables, and there is also a superb collection of wines, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxed evening.
Moraira has several beaches where you can enjoy a swim. The central Playa de l'Ampolla is popular with families, whilst to the north, near the Watchtower, the stunning Cala El Portet boasts a stretch of golden sand and beautiful turquoise waters. Grab a snorkel to discover the seabed, or rent a kayak and explore the rocky inlets and Jurassic-like cliffs. You can also paddle further around the headland to discover the hidden Cala Lledbeigh. Taking its name from the pirates and smugglers that once used it for trafficking tobacco and sugar, the delightful cove offers a secluded spot where you can swim or sit quietly on the beach.
Just a short drive to the south, Cala de la Fustera offers another idyllic spot, and from the beach, you can join the Ruta Ecológica Benissa and follow the cliff tops down to Calp. The coastal path suits the whole family and offers spectacular views over the pretty coves and out to sea. Calp itself is distinguished by the monumental Peñon de Ifach mountain, protruding from the coastline and giving the landscape its distinctive shape. For the more active, a further path invites you to ascend to its summit via a trail that leads through the tunnel cut through the enormous rock, taking you to the top of the limestone cliff where you can marvel at the panoramic views across the surrounding landscape and over the bay.

Region
Costa Blanca is famous for the ‘Brits Abroad’ culture, and it’s understandable why it attracts such crowds throughout the summer months. Guaranteed weather, world-class beaches, tons of family facilities and bumpin’ nightlife is a recipe in popularity. Why not experience a different side of Costa Blanca with a villa holiday?
Here’s some handy tips for the best eats, things to do with groups, family activities and the must-sees for Costa Blanca. You might need two weeks’ holiday after all….
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesWith its delightful terrace and pool, Villa Perlarita is a lovely spot to spend a relaxing holiday with all the family. Surrounded by rich vegetation and leafy palms, the outdoor area offers a completely private setting to relax in the sun, swim in the pool or play a family game of cards beneath the shade of an umbrella. Enjoy sharing meals outside, or buy local fish and cook a delicious supper on the barbecue.
Hop in the car and reach the nearby coast in just five minutes, where you can find several lovely beaches and coves to swim at. The nearby El Portet enjoys clear blue waters, where you can snorkel or rent a kayak to explore the rocky cliffs. For younger children, Moraira's central Playa de l'Ampolla is a more accessible spot with a long stretch of golden sand that is perfect for building sand castles. There are two beachside playgrounds, well-maintained public facilities and plenty of restaurants nearby where you can seek shade and enjoy an ice cream or refreshing juice.
Children will also love to discover Morairas' castle. Whilst the original fortress was destroyed, an impressive reconstruction sits in place, complete with a splendid drawbridge and moat.
The lively city of Benidorm is just half an hour down the coast, with plenty to amuse the whole family. Explore the city's streets or walk through L'Aiguera Park, designed by the iconic architect Richard Bofill. Separating the old city quarter from the modern district, the long grassy stretch is perfect for a picnic, and at one end, two amphitheatres regularly hold shows and events during the summer months.
Alternatively, wander down to the marina, where you can take a boat ride out to the island in the middle of the bay or for a more thrilling day out, head to the outskirts of the city to find the popular Aqualandia water park, where you can enjoy the colourful slides, tubes and giant wave pool.
