On the outskirts of the charming town of Cadaqués along the Costa Brava sits the majestic Casa Lligat. This 10-bedroom villa is nestled in a 5-acre private park surrounded by pine and olive trees and faces the Cap de Creus natural park. With its breathtaking sea views, outdoor spaces and spectacular infinity pool, this haven of tranquility offers extreme privacy and benefits from direct access to the sea.
Extending over 500m², Casa Lligat offers spacious living areas and can accommodate a maximum of 20 guests. Designed in 1962 by the well-known American architect Peter Harnden, the villa combines modernity, simplicity and high level comfort and refinement, with influences from both Californian style from the 1950’s and rustic Mediterranean style. The property has a rich history: for nearly 20 years, Dali’s personal manager, namely Captain Moore, lived in the house!
The one-storey villa perched on the rock high above the sea has two parts: the main house (4 bedrooms), and six exterior bedrooms with independent access, all connected with gorgeous Mediterranean patios and stone steps. The main house features an open-plan living/dining space with a sunken sofa area, fireplace, piano, and access to a terrace. A fully equipped kitchen with an island and bar seating opens to the interior patio. Outside, a heated infinity pool (please see Ts&Cs) with a pool house, gardens, multiple terraces and dining areas for 12-14 guests leave you spoilt for choice for places to spend your time at the villa. Stone steps lead straight down to the seafront, adding to the magical serene feel this villa exudes. These steps should not be attempted by anyone with reduced mobility!
What you should know…
- The villa and its grounds are set over several levels so there are lots of steps around, and this should be kept in mind for guests with reduced mobility and young children
- Although though the pool area is fenced, the pool itself is not and therefore parents should make sure children are well supervised
- The steps down to the water should not be attempted by small children or those with reduced mobility, and it is recommended that only competent swimmers should swim from this point

Villa Lligat is split into 2 parts; the main house with 4 bedrooms, and 6 exterior bedrooms all with independent access, connected with lovely Mediterranean patios and stone steps.

About the surrounding area of Casa LligatCasa Lligat is located in Port Lligat, a picturesque cove in northern Spain near the charming town of Cadaqués, Catalonia. This tranquil area is famous for being the residence of Salvador Dalí, whose former home is now the Salvador Dalí House-Museum. Best Suited For: All AgesCasa Lligat is ideal for families with children, offering plenty of space and fun features, as well as amazing views! The villa has a cozy bunk bedroom kids will love and large outdoor areas where they can play safely. The heated infinity pool (please see Ts&Cs) is great for swimming with adult supervision, and the waterfront location means beach adventures are close by. There are several indoor and outdoor dining areas for relaxed family meals and plenty of comfy spaces for downtime together.

| Minimum stay | 7 nights in July and August. 3 nights for the rest of the year. |

| Pool heating charge? | For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €500 per week (to be paid to OT prior to travel). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures. |

A breathtaking location with breathtaking views
A breathtaking location with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the stunning cliffs surrounding Cadaqués. This place steeped in history (former home of Dali's private secretary) offered us a wonderful immersion in Dali's world, and a very rejuvenating moment, surrounded by absolutely splendid natural elements!
