Set up for an easy-breezy way of living, this four-bedroom holiday home offers stylish and spacious accommodation. With a number of inviting double bedroom and twin bedroom options, there's also a fifth room, which can be used as a bedroom, or even a playroom for the kids. And, with four bathrooms thrown in, there'll be no morning arguments!

Boasting a cosy living area with an impressive fireplace, it's ideal for relaxing, but those floor-to-ceiling windows, which give you direct access to the garden will have you stepping out in no time. The attractive gardens are a real highlight of the villa, not only for their personal charm but the generous swimming pool and attractive gardens surrounding it. Take time to soak up that glorious Spanish sun - all day!

Mealtimes are also sure to be a breeze when you're dining al fresco. Just get that BBQ on, and the children may just about pull themselves away from the pool. Or, fancy a bite to eat out and about. There's plenty of restaurants, cafe and bars around Tamariu - perfect after a day spent on the beach snorkelling, kayaking or just splashing about on the shore. Alternatively, you can head for nearby Begur - a medieval village boasting narrow streets, lined with Moorish houses and a crumbling castle at its very top.

Villa Zion is secluded and peaceful, making it easy to get that much sought-after 'quality time' with the family. But, head out to the nearby Costa Brava (wild coast), and you'll certainly get your fix of fun and adventure.

What you should know…

  • Although the fifth bedroom has no windows, it is a huge space and can be used as an extra bedorom or a fantastic playroom for the children!
  • You will need to use a chopping board when cutting up all that delicious local produce, as the kitchen worktops are delicate
  • The swimming pool is not fenced, so children should be supervised at all times

According to the British Telegraph newspaper, the beach at Tamariu ranks as one of the best beaches on the Costa Brava. Embraced by pine-clad headlands, the horseshoe-shaped beach is very pretty, family-friendly and sheltered.

Just behind the beach is the pedestrian promenade, where there are some cafes, restaurants and beach gear shops. Parents can happily while away a little time in the shade, sipping whatever they fancy, with their children, only yards away from them, play safely on the sand.

It probably won’t be the first time you’ve heard of it, in this neck of the woods, but Tamariu was originally a small fishing village. It has definitely retained some of its charm and identity, and its beautiful south facing sandy bay offers a romantic destination for lovers. It’s also a good choice for families seeking a quieter Costa Brava resort.

The activity in the village will peak in August, but as yet there aren’t any English bars or breakfasts. Neither are their high-rise hotels on the landscape, only a blend of greens, blues and sandy shades with pretty whitewashed buildings in the foreground.

The villa is a lovely place for kids to hang out - teenagers and older children will love having their own space, while children of all ages will love swimming in the pool. The outdoors area all good to run around and play, will ensure many fun evenings!

The house is a beautiful family retreat in a quiet location but close to so many fun things to do together as a family, from exploring beaches to having dinner in the old town of Tamariu.

The town's beach has fine sand and all the local amenities you could require, with boat rentals, restaurants and cafes within a few paces of the beach.

These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.

Security deposit €1,000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
Arrival time 4 pm.
Departure time 10 am.
End of stay cleaning included? Yes. Please note that for stays less than 1 week, there will be a mandatory €100 supplement to pay via a link directly to the property manager. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Linen & towels included? Yes, included in the rental price. Guests can request extra linen and towles, at an extra cost of:
- Set of sheets: €8 per person + 21% VAT
- Set of towels: €4 per person + 21% VAT
Pool towels are included.
Energy costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Heating costs included? Yes, included in the rental price.
Internet access? Wi-Fi internet access included in the rental price.
Minimum stay 7 nights during peak season. 3 nights during other periods.

Tax Catalonia Tourist Tax of €1 per person per night for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid prior to arrival via a link direct to the supplier.
Insurance Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
Other Ts and Cs Cot and high chair available under request for an extra cost of €40 per item per week.
Other Ts and Cs Please be aware that guests will receive a link from Oliver's Travels 2 weeks before arrival to pay the security deposit and tourist tax and to supply guest details.
