Villa Diolo's elegant bedrooms are equally spacious, featuring the same crisp, light decor and complete with sumptuous double beds that promise a restful night's sleep. About the surrounding area of Villa DioloVilla Diolo is situated in the laid-back residential area of Las Chapas, just minutes from the beach. Set between Fuengirola and Marbella, it's the perfect location for families who want to enjoy a beach holiday while still being able to explore more of the coastline on the Costa del Sol. You'll find several restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the area features several excellent golf courses that make it a popular destination for lovers of the sport.
The gorgeous Las Chapas Beach is very popular with visitors thanks to its soft golden sands and moderate waves and attracts quite a crowd during the summer months. This part of the coastline features a real air of luxury and exclusivity and is home to many high-quality dining establishments and beach clubs, including the famous Nikki Beach Club, an open-air venue best known for its all-white decor with golden accents, plush daybeds, and fusion of music, fine food and fashion.
If you fancy travelling a little further afield to enjoy more of the region's beautiful natural landscapes, the beautiful ruralisation of Elviria is just a five-minute drive from the villa and is the perfect place for anyone who enjoys walking and hiking. There are some stunning routes in the mountains that shelter the coast, and from here, visitors are guaranteed the most incredible views, so be sure to pack your camera!
The villa is also just a short drive from the bustling centre of Marbella, a luxurious area that is steeped in history and tradition while serving up a modern, cosmopolitan flavour. You won't be short of things to see and do here, with over twenty-four beaches in the area, including the incredibly family-friendly Bono Beach, Playa del Cristo and Estrella del Mar, all of which feature calm and shallow waters, soft sands and restaurants offering great kids' menus.
If you're after a day of rest and relaxation in the sun, we definitely recommend heading to Plaza de los Naranjos, one of Marbella's most beautiful town squares. Surrounded by historic buildings and traditional white Andalucian buildings, this delightful spot is the hub of Marbella's Old Town. Orange trees surround the Renaissance fountain that takes pride of place in its centre, and here you'll find plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by in the shade of colourful umbrellas outside the street cafes and restaurants.

The kids will be glad to see some familiar-home comforts such as TV and WiFi and will enjoy the easy flow from indoors to outdoors that makes exploring and playing fun. The villa's private pool is accessible via steps, so there's no need to worry about the little ones struggling to get in and out of the water, although, of course, as always when it comes to children and bodies of water, caution is advised - especially as the pool is unfenced.
The residential area of Las Chapas is a lovely peaceful place to spend a family holiday, and with the beach, restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance, it's a fantastic location for those with children. There's lots to enjoy in the surrounding areas, including nature walks, the beach, and a variety of activities, including golf, snorkelling and scuba diving, beach volleyball and horse-riding.
If you have access to transport and want to head into the centre of Marbella with the kids, you'll be pleasantly surprised to discover that there are lots of family-friendly things to do - it's not just a party town!
One of the things that makes this region such a popular holiday destination is that the weather is all but guaranteed, with the region enjoying, on average, 320 days of sunshine a year, so it's easy to enjoy simple outdoor pleasures with the kids such as visiting some of the local outdoor pools, where they can make new friends while you sip coffee or sangria. It's well worth taking a stroll along the esplanade with the kids, shopping for fans and flamenco dolls and enjoying a nice cream, and for kids who have a lot of energy to burn, there's plenty of opportunity to take part in various sporting and recreational activities during your stay.
