Overview
The spacious, traditional, sprawling Casa Alexander is situated in a valley just minutes from Carvajal Beach, between Benalmadena and Fuengirola. With 7 huge bedrooms, the villa sleeps 14 guests. The villa is set in private grounds with mature planting. It is a peaceful, private setting yet just short 15-minute walk from the beach, bars and restaurants and a steep walk up hill back to the villa. It is a 10-minute drive to both Benalmadena and Fuengirola where you will find masses of entertainment as well as fantastic beaches.
Casa Alexander is newly decorated in a traditional yet unique style with bright, warm colours. The open plan living and dining room has a large fireplace and overlooks the swimming pool and terrace. The kitchen is spacious, well equipped with large appliances and definitely unique. The games room and bar will be popular for chilling out. There is an enjoyable snooker table, pool table as well as table football and darts. There are 2 sweeping staircases from the spacious entrance hall leading to the 7 bedrooms. There are 2 twin bedrooms and 5 with king-size beds, some of which are four-posters.
Outside is a large, inviting swimming pool, surrounded with sun loungers, a hammock and several alfresco dining areas. There is a brick-built charcoal barbecue and an outdoor bar area. The planting is mature and very attractive.
What you should know…
- Teenagers will love the games room with billiards, pool table, darts, table football and a life size chess set though you may need to supervise the bar!
- Fuengirola and Benalmadena are both within a 20-minute drive and offer much entertainment
- Please be aware that the kitchen has been updated and the photos do not reflect this refurbishment
- Casa Alexander is situated in a valley and whilst amenities are within walking distance please note that it is a steep walk up hill back to the villa

About the surrounding area of Casa AlexanderThe beach of Carvajal is approximately a 15-minute walk from the villa. Trains from the station 15 minutes away will take you to the airport so you do not actually require a car at this villa, though you may prefer to have one to easily explore the rest of the Costa del Sol region!
Benalmadena is known for its beaches, especially Playa de la Carihuela, and the Tivoli World Theme Park as well as the other entertainment on offer. There are many attractions at the theme park including roller coasters, the ‘Twister’, Jurassic adventure mysterious ship, the free-fall tower, the giant Ferris wheel, carousels and other child-friendly rides. There is a theatre with live performances, and there are many themed restaurants.
The Sea Life Centre at the marina is very popular. Selwo Marina is a small marine park with 4 areas, Antillas, Las Hondonadas, Amazonia and Isla de Hielo. You will meet lions, giraffes, hippos, zebras, leopards, meerkats, lynx, elephants and pandas. There are also adventure activities including the zip wire, hanging bridges, archery and the Serengeti Safari, a 4x4 truck ride around the Great Lakes Reserve. There are dolphin shows in the big pool and an icy penguinarium.
Fuengirola is a vibrant metropolis with tapas bars, many cafes and restaurants, chic boutiques, wonderful beaches and amusement parks. The main square of Fuengirola, the Plaza de la Constitucion, has been redesigned but still retains its unique enchantment. There are many quaint bars, fiestas and little street markets. The Parroquia de Nuestra Senora del Rosaria is the beautiful church in the centre of the Plaza.
The Fuengirola Tuesday market is buzzy and vibrant with everything from leather goods, clothes, crafts to local produce. You should certainly haggle! The Miramar Shopping Centre is one of the Costa del Sol’s largest retail areas. The promenade is great for a stroll where you will pass the beach, Sauld park, bungey trampolines, a merry go round and much more.

Sould Park in Fuengirola is a small amusement park for children. There are various zones within the park with soft play, trampolines, train rides, a pirate ship, water dodgems, swing chair carousel, a rollercoaster, virtual reality rollercoaster and car driving. It is good fun.
Biopark Fuengirola champions a new model of zoo based on respect for nature and the preservation of natural species. Biopark plunges visitors into the animal’s native environments. The habitats of Africa, Asia and Madagascar, are recreated by the themed design of embankments, waterfalls, rocks, trunks and trees. The creation of the 25-metre baobab tree, one of the largest artificial trees around, is the landmark of the centre. There are more than 200 species in the park, most of them endangered or at risk of being endangered. You may see the Sumatra Tiger of which there are only 300, Roloway monkeys, the only ones in Spain or Blue Duikers.
Aqualand at Torremolinos is the largest waterpark on the Costa del Sol. It features 12 adrenaline rush water slides, the tallest being the 22-metre high Kamikaze. There is an enormous jacuzzi, a huge wave pool with 1-metre tall waves and many other activities.

The most fabulous week
We had the most fabulous week here. 8 adults and 6 children ranging in age from 5 to 12. Villa is perfect. Loads of space, fabulous pool, everything you could need. Lots of thoughtful touches - a massive pile of fresh pool towels, books to read, and even a cocktail making book, which we used extensively... it's a ten minute walk to the beach with bars, restaurants and some little supermarkets. From there you can stroll to fuengirola - probably a couple of miles. Getting taxis is super easy, use the Pidetaxi app for local taxis. The main carrefour shop up the hill is a very steep hike up, so better to taxi up (5 euros). But it's not actually that far, about a 20min walk back if you prefer. We had an incredible week here.

Property is as described. Very quiet location but only a 10 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Would definitely go back.

The best time
We had the best time at Casa Alexander the kids loved the huge pool and we felt very safe with the kids as the property had high walls all around, would definitely recommend for a large group of 12.

The Villa was brilliant
The Villa was brilliant, location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Plenty of bars and restaurants within distance. The villa it’s self was clean and well looked after. Towels etc were provided. Communication with the host was also great and always got back to us fast. Photos don’t do this place justice. Highly recommend and we will be back!

An absolute slice of paradise
The villa is beautifully designed and emanates a sense of serenity. The villa is brimming with charm and character. A fantastic party house combined with an amazing sense of tranquility. Absolutely stunning.
We were a family of 12. Ages ranged from 12 years to 80 years and everyone loved the villa.

Amazing House peaceful, quiet privacy with a huge Hotel Size Pool, Pool Billiard Room is massive and Bathrooms are super clean and big, will come back for sure.

Amazing holiday
We had such an amazing stay at Casa Alexander. Laura was a fabulous host, always attentive and easy to contact if we ever needed anything. The property itself is beautiful and had plenty of space for 14 of us visiting. The pool is amazing and the Villa is stocked with everything you need for your holiday. Carvajal beach was a leisurely walk down the hill and has bars and restaurants nearby if you want, otherwise Fuengirola and Benalmadena are not far away via Uber. I would thoroughly recommend staying here to anyone looking to visit and we hope to return in the future for I’m sure what will be another amazing holiday.

A wonderful family holiday.
In a lovely tranquil setting the house and pool provided over and above for a wonderful family holiday. From lazy pool days to a short walk down to the beach and fun on the sea. Great beach restaurants and handy shop. Taxis readily available, we didn't need a car.

Casa Alexander is set on gorgeous ground
Casa Alexander is set on gorgeous grounds and is a standout for any family/group vacation. We planned a post-covid reunion trip with a big group for friends and couldn't have asked for a better setting. It can easily accommodate 14 pax. The pool gets the sun all day and is lovely to just spend the day. Even though we spent 5 nights there, I'm not sure if we explored every corner of the Villa.
Laura is a very welcome and helpful hosts. We had a few hiccups in the beginning and she was always available to sort it out with her team on ground. Thank you! -
A fabulous stay
Our party of 13 had a fabulous 10-night stay at Casa Alexander! The place had everything we needed, and more! Just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, and sea front with lots of restaurants/shops etc, and public transport! Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and extensive outdoor areas at the villa, and the games room in the basement area was impressive! Laura was on hand both before, and during our stay to answer any questions or queries we had, and offered lots of recommendations on shopping, places to eat and transport etc - honestly could not ask for a better host!!

A fantastic Villa which offered everything we could of hoped for, we were a party of 15 and this was perfect for us. Laura the host was extremely helpful from the booking to our exit, she offered support and advise.

The conversation with Laura was very easy and she was very fast in answering. Even as we had one issue or actually question with the lights outside, it was quick helped and handled.
