THE REGION
Puerto del Carmen is the main tourist town on the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. It is part of the municipality of Tías. Most of Lanzarote's over 1 million visitors per year choose this town as their destination. As a result, it remains Lanzarote's most popular resort, now sprawling along 7km of the island's south-central coast.
With sunshades, four lanes deep, and just 10-minute drive southwest from the airport, Lanzarote's original purpose-built resort is a primarily British-geared hub packed with bars, restaurants, clubs, jet skis, dive schools, banana boats, sports screens, and plenty of shopping.

Perfect!
This Villa was perfect for families with teenagers! The villa is large enough for parents to be away from the social areas so that they can stay up late and not bother us and so well built that the early rising parents don’t disturb them in the mornings. Villa is gorgeous and one is spoilt for choice for outside eating / chilling areas (there are at least 3 separate places) . The location is perfect for shops ( Lidl is a 5 min drive) and walking distance to the beaches and restaurants. It felt totally safe letting 5 teenagers walk back and forth as and when they wanted to. There is parking (which is rare in lanzarote). Highly recommend the snorkelling in the rock bay it was stunning. A big shout out to the service we received from Oliver’s travels for handpicking this villa for us when the one we chose didn’t work out, to a fully stocked fridge as the Gatwick flights arrive late so it was such a pleasure to arrive and be able to feed everyone immediately.

Villa is great. Transfer very efficient but we paid for pool heating and the pool is very cold!
