 The luxurious and very private villa is located in the prestigious Los Mojones, and the tourist resort of Puerto del Carmen. This location is perfect if you prefer a tranquil setting but within a few minutes to the tourist areas.
 
 Villa Valdes has been decorated to an extremely high standard, the contemporary decor and simple but stylish furnishings give the house a bright and airy feel throughout. This secluded luxury villa can sleep up to eight guests, sits on a prestigious plot with fantastic outside space, 8m2 x 4m2 electrically heated swimming pool and a hot tub, all of this surrounded by tropical gardens. You can relax in the chill-out bed or have some fun with the wide range of leisure activities such as an American billiard, table tennis, darts, table football or why not try your luck at some the crazy golf game.

 This villa offers a spacious open plan living with its exquisite dining room that leads on to the spacious and beautifully planned lounge. From the leather sofas, you can watch the 50” plasma T.V. with BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Netflix and full SKY package satellite programs. Also available are DVD’s, games, books and a laptop is supplied for your use. Fibre Optic Internet is available throughout the villa so you can listen to your favourite music with the new Apple Homepod, a breakthrough speaker that adapts to its location and delivers high-fidelity audio.

The light and airy lounge lead out by its double doors to the terrace and pool, BBQ and outdoor dining area. For guests looking to self-cater, you can enjoy a modern style kitchen, fully equipped with oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and a variety of smaller appliances designed to make catering nice and easy.
 
 There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and another double bedroom with a large shower room. Both double bedrooms have cots. The two other bedrooms have twin beds with en-suite showers. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and built-in wardrobes.
 
 A complimentary welcome basket is included on arrival. We provide an Eco-friendly cleaning service with a full clean and linen change once a week. Towels are supplied for the whole week. The property is alarmed with a safe.

Lanzarote is a beautiful island situated at the far right of the Canarian archipelago, the closest island to the African continent at the same longitude as the southern tip of Morocco. This location means that we enjoy a sunny, temperate climate all year round. Lanzarote has the most consistent climate of all the Canary Islands, with stable temperatures throughout the year, averaging 17ºC (63º F) in January/February and 24º C (75º F) in the summertime.

The whole of the Canary Islands are volcanic, but it is in Lanzarote that the most recent volcanic history is evident and accessible. A visit to Timanfaya National Park located in the south of the island is a must.

Lanzarote is also a unique example of how one single man can have so much influence on its aspect that one can say César Manrique ‘sculpted’ Lanzarote! Lanzarote’s greatest and internationally renowned son left his genius signature everywhere on the island… as sculptor, painter, architect and environmentalist.

It is also largely his responsibility that tourism on Lanzarote developed within certain aesthetic guidelines and above all without spoiling the island’s landscape heritage, customs and traditions.

Except for one hotel building in Arrecife, all buildings on the island are low-rise – “not taller than a Canarian palm” – and you won’t find any advertising hoardings at the roadsides! But what you will find at the roadside are fascinating wind mobiles and sculptures and pretty villages in a symphony of white and green!

Lanzarote is a Biosphere Reserve. It covers 84600 ha including the minor northern islands of La Graciosa, Alegranza and Montaña Clara, and has a population which is estimated of over 150.000. The Biosphere Reserve designation by UNESCO corresponds to the social choice of the local communities: the Biosphere Reserve Council has become of high social and political relevance.

The reserves are nominated by national governments and must meet certain criteria and adhere to certain conditions before being admitted into the World Network. Each Biosphere Reserve is intended to fulfil three basic functions; to contribute to the conservation of our heritage; to foster sustainable economic and human development; and to provide support for research, monitoring, education and information exchange related to the above.

The individual Biosphere Reserves remain under the sovereign jurisdiction of the countries in which they are situated.

THE REGION

Puerto del Carmen is the main tourist town on the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. It is part of the municipality of Tías. Most of Lanzarote's over 1 million visitors per year choose this town as their destination. As a result, it remains Lanzarote's most popular resort, now sprawling along 7km of the island's south-central coast.

With sunshades, four lanes deep, and just 10-minute drive southwest from the airport, Lanzarote's original purpose-built resort is a primarily British-geared hub packed with bars, restaurants, clubs, jet skis, dive schools, banana boats, sports screens, and plenty of shopping.

Children of all ages will be entertained in this popular resort. The beach is wonderful, and there is an amazing shopping centre at Biosfera Plaza. An array of water sports is available for older children to try, either from Playa Grande or the harbour.

And a full day out can be enjoyed by the whole family at Rancho Texas Amusement Park. It’s a high-quality combination of animal encounters, theme park and water rides.
