Overview
Nestled in the heart of the northern Mallorca countryside, Casa Esabella is a spacious and luxurious retreat that accommodates up to ten guests across five bedrooms and is the perfect holiday home for those who want to get away from it all. Set within extensive grounds and offering stunning views over the rolling hills and mountains beyond, Casa Esabella is a real feast for the senses. Natural materials are abundant throughout the villa, from the beautiful stone walls and traditional roof tiles to the marble bathrooms and classic furnishings carved from high-quality woods that complement the chic and contemporary style.
The interior oozes charm, with bright and airy open spaces that ensure the villa is flooded with light, dazzling white walls and soft neutral tones, offering a real element of class and sophistication. The open-plan lounge/diner features cosy white sofas, armchairs, and chunky wooden furniture for a warm, classic vibe. This area offers the perfect space for chilling together, talking about your day, or relaxing in front of the satellite TV. The adjoining dining area has a beautiful wooden dining table that seats up to eight guests and is ideally positioned so that you and the family can enjoy those incredible views as you dine together. There are doors from here that lead out onto a fully furnished terrace - the perfect place to retire for after-dinner drinks as the sun sets over the mountains.
Casa Esabella’s fully-equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to create fabulous meals during your stay, including modern appliances and plenty of food-preparation space. You’ll also find another dining table to accommodate extra guests or perhaps for grabbing a quick breakfast or morning cuppa before heading out for the day. The additional laundry area is a convenient feature, meaning that you can pack a little lighter and save some extra room in your suitcases for all of those fabulous Mallorcan souvenirs you’ll want to bring home with you.
A stunning open staircase leads you up to a charming study area, where you’ll find a desk and TV, and it is the perfect place for a spot of quiet time or for catching up on emails if your business never sleeps! - with WiFi available throughout the villa, you’ll be able to stay connected at all times. A balcony terrace can be accessed from this space, offering an elevated position to soak up the views while reclining on a luxurious sun lounger - bliss!
Casa Esabella’s five sumptuous bedrooms are all decorated to the same high standard as the rest of the villa, with a fresh, light palette of white and cream accented by sprays of exposed stonework and warm, rustic woods. Each of the five bedrooms are generously sized and offer spectacular views over the hills. Two of the rooms feature double beds, and there are three twin rooms, all with luxurious ensuite bathrooms complete with modern, stylish facilities.
Stepping outside into the villa’s lush, expansive grounds, you’ll fully appreciate your breathtaking surroundings, including a central patio with comfortable outdoor seating and a garden area with soft lawns and a variety of Mediterranean plants and trees. Casa Esabella also features a partially-covered outdoor dining area complete with a kitchen and built-in barbecue - the perfect place to enjoy alfresco meals. Of course, no Mediterranean holiday home is complete without a pool, and the large private pool on the grounds of Casa Esabella won’t disappoint! With steps leading down into the water for easy access and surrounded by a selection of luxurious loungers, you and your guests are sure to spend many a happy hour enjoying a refreshing dip or reclining in the sun with a good book - and an even better cocktail.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa EsabellaCasa Esabella is just a fifteen-minute drive outside Alcudia, the region's oldest town. Alcudia is fully pedestrianised, so it's perfect for exploring on foot. Here you'll find a plethora of small, inviting restaurants offering fresh, local fare and a street market every Tuesday and Sunday. You'll be able to pick up some local goods to enjoy, including some particularly good sobrasada (a delicious raw, cured sausage made with ground pork, paprika, salt and other spices). But it's not just Alcudia's picturesque streets, fine dining opportunities and historical sites that have visitors returning again and again. The beach here is particularly beautiful, featuring 7km of curved white sands shelving into the glittering blue of the med. This little piece of Mallorcan paradise is lined with palm trees and thatched beach huts, restaurants and cafes - making it a firm family favourite for finding a sandy spot and staying all day. The bay's shallow waters make this beach an excellent choice for those travelling with children, and for the adrenaline junkies among you, there are a variety of watersports on offer, such as canoeing and parasailing, as well as the opportunity for scuba diving! Suppose you're yearning for something laid back and tranquil after all that sun, sand, sports and sangria. In that case, you'll be delighted to know that Parc Natural de s'Albufera, the largest and most important wetland area in the Balearic Islands, is right on your doorstep. Dating back to ancient times, this tranquil and beautiful nature reserve is home to over 300 bird species, including herons, osprey's and egrets, making it a favourite destination for bird watchers and nature lovers. Another popular destination equidistant from the villa is the ancient town of Pollensa, which has a great choice of shops and supermarkets for stocking up on groceries, as well as bakeries and restaurants for treating yourself when enjoying a day out. There's plenty to see and do in the town, with particular highlights including the Roman bridge over the Sant Jordi river, museums and art galleries, and the Calvari steps. The town is small and easy to explore on foot, but be aware that it can be a steep and uneven walk, so suitable footwear is a must! Every Sunday, a traditional market in the square offers fresh local produce and traditional fare, which is not to be missed. Why not grab local delicacies while you're here and head back to the villa to rustle up a traditional Mediterranean feast for your guests?

THE REGION
The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.
The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesCasa Esabella is the perfect rural retreat for families, with gated access and an intelligent alarm system for total peace of mind. Kids of all ages are sure to enjoy splashing about in their own private pool, playing on the expansive lawns, and eating alfresco with the family on the shady terrace.
If you decide to visit nearby Alcudia beach, you’ll find that it’s a firm favourite with families. The sands can get busy, but the atmosphere here is laid back, and plenty of sun loungers and deck chairs are available to relax and enjoy the view. The waters here are shallow and calm - perfect for little paddlers! There are plenty of cafes and kiosks along the beach, so you won’t have problems finding somewhere to grab snacks and refreshments. If you like your beaches a little quieter, you could head further to Alcanada beach. The mainly pebble beach doesn’t attract as many visitors but is equally beautiful. The kids will enjoy spending the day here looking for shells and skimming the pretty pebbles across the water while you relax, looking out to the lighthouse on a small island just off the shore.
A trip to Alcudia’s Hidropark is a must if you are holidaying with children. One of Mallorca’s smaller and quieter water parks, Hidropark is popular with families who are holidaying with children of all ages and features water slides, a splash area and a wave pool, mini golf, inflatable castles, floating balls and trampolines.
Eating out in the area with the kids couldn’t be simpler, with both Alcudia and Pollensa offering a vast variety of cafes, bistros and eateries ranging from trendy, modern tapas bars to traditional restaurants all serving fresh Mediterranean fare. Adventurous little eaters will be spoilt for choice with such delicacies as paella with snails, prawn risotto and slow-cooked suckling pig on offer. Still, there is something on offer for all palates, from fresh homemade bread and olive oil to pizza, pasta and steaks.
