Overview
When you walk into Casa Predri, you will most definitely smile! It is a fantastic, modern conversion of a beautiful stone villa, right in the heart of the incredible Alcudia Old Town. The contemporary design is stunning whilst maintaining the warm ambience and charm of the original stone walls. This villa has 2 bedrooms, so is perfect for 4 guests wanting to stay in the magical Old Town.
Alcudia Old Town oozes charm from its lovely sandstone architecture which is prettiest in the golden-hued late afternoon sunlight. It is compact and full of appealing narrow streets, fantastic restaurants, trendy bars and charming boutiques. You can visit the twice-weekly, colourful market for which it is famous, taste delicious tapas and sangria, walk around the top of the old walls and enjoy splendid views, visit the Bullring, the Roman ruins, museum and amphitheatre, visit the fabulous Sant Jaume church and pick up some souvenirs in the quaint shops.
You will certainly get a pleasant surprise once you see what is hidden behind the traditional stone walls and wooden shutters of Casa Pedri. It is a fabulously warm and inviting place with a fantastic blend of modern and ancient materials, creating a gorgeous space. The enchanting entrance hall has a vaulted ceiling and a contemporary, open staircase. From the exquisite living area, you can access the delightful patio.
The living space is open to the modern kitchen/diner. The funky kitchen tiles are lovely. There is a further sitting area furnished with two sofa beds and with access to a courtyard with lounge chairs. There are two generous sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other twin beds. Both bathrooms are pristine and dazzling.
This really is a lovely property and a gem in the Old Town. The courtyard patio is perfect for pre-dinner drinks. Your choice of restaurants on your doorstep is superb.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa PredriSant Jaume Church in the centre of Alcudia Old Town is built in Neo-Gothic style and was finished in 1893 after the first church built in the 14th century fell into disrepair. The parish church was named after its founder King Jaume II, who was the man behind the massive town walls.
Art lovers will enjoy the fabulous Sa Bassa Blanca Museum created by Yannick and Ben Jakober. It is one of the most impressive and unique exhibition halls in Mallorca. It is situated in an old palace overlooking the stunning bay and harbour of Alcudia and Port Alcudia from its location on the slopes of Alcanada. What makes Sa Bassa Blanca special, aside from the contemporary art collection, are the arches, tiled floors and fantastic gardens. There is a collection of animal sculptures in the garden and a fabulous art collection inside the building.
Can Torro is the library of Alcudia. It is a beautiful mansion dating back from the early Middle Ages. As well as being the library, Can Toro aims to be one of the most innovative cultural spaces on the Balearic islands. Multimedia and interactivity are key to the intellectual playground.
If you visit the cave and mountain of Sant Marti, close to the Hidropark Alcudia, you will enjoy some amazing views over Alcudia. A staircase carved out of the rock grants access to the natural cave. There are two chapels, one medieval and one gothic, with round-arched portals in the main hall dedicated to Sant Marti and Sant Jordi.
Golf fans will be delighted with the famous Alcanada Golf Club. As well as having superb greens designed by Robert Trent Jones, there are incredible views and a wonderful restaurant.

THE REGION
The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.
The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesChildren will love staying at Casa Predri. Although there is not a pool, it is not far to the Alcudia’s beach with its dazzling white sand and crystal clear turquoise water. There are numerous coves and small beaches as well as a set of small islands and islets. It is a great place for sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking and scuba diving as well as hiking, running or cycling.
With 30km of the coast, this area has so many beaches and coves including Alcanada, Cala Poncet, Can Cap de Bou, Coll Baix, Es Barcares, Es Farallo, Playa de Alcudia, Sa Marina, Sant Joan, Sant Pere and S’Illot. There are many watersports available, including parasailing, banana boat rides, pedal boats with slides and other inflatable rides.
During the summer months, a unique cultural event takes place in Alcudia Old Town, The Via Fora. It is a dramatized tour explaining various historical events in the city, performed by a group of actors and musicians that will make you travel back in time. It is interesting and fun for children as the show includes interaction with the audience.
There are 3 waterparks on Mallorca including Western Water Park in Magaluf, Aqualand in El Arenal and close by, Hidropark in Alcudia. Hidropark boasts thrilling slides, bouncy castles, paint-balling, giant floating balls and trampolines.
A popular outing for children is to visit some of Mallorca’s interesting caves. Coves d’Arta’s guided tour takes you through various chambers to the ‘Queen of Pillars’, a huge stalagmite 22 metres tall. Coves de Drach, which means Caves of the Dragon, is the most famous of the caves. It has four caves where musicians play classical music from the boats on the underground lake.
