Casa Salmar is a beautifully decorated house meter from the sea, set in a quiet residential area with only a one-minute walk to the beach. It’s in an ideal location for anyone who is looking for a holiday villa in a peaceful surrounding and yet close enough to shops, bars and restaurants in Puerto Pollença.
When you enter the house, you’re greeted with stunning décor and a dining kitchen area. It’s equipped with all the equipment that you would need, along with a dining set and a small TV area to keep you occupied while cooking or as background noise while entertaining. The large living room has beautiful patio doors that lead out to the terrace, and they let in light making the room bright.
They also offer stunning views of the terrace and private pool. The living room has a large TV and large comfortable sofas that you can sink into and wind down from your day in Pollença. Here there is another dining table to seat 6 people, and the stairs leading to the upper floor.
Three bedrooms have all been designed with the guests in mind – they have storage space for you, and each of the rooms has views varying views. One of the double bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and a private terrace which has views of the sea, a stunning thing to see in the morning. The twin bedroom has views of the private pool, beautiful to see also.
The final double bedroom has a private terrace on the second floor, with views of the bay of Puerto Pollença and the Tramuntana mountains in the distance. All the bedrooms have air conditioning, wardrobe space and they’re spacious, comfortable and ideal for a great night’s sleep and even better morning views. There is a family bathroom that has a shower over bathtub for everyone to use.
To the rear of the house are the covered terrace and private swimming pool surrounded by a decked sunbathing area, with sun loungers for your use. Whether you want to spend your time swimming or catching sun here, you’ll be able to do so with privacy as the property has a wall around it, offering security and privacy. There is also a large brick-built BBQ, so you can dine with delicious food outside on the outside furniture, enjoying the food either in the sun or under the cover of the moon and stars.
What you should know…
- The pool has beautiful roman steps which make entering and exiting the property safer; however, the pool doesn’t have fencing around it so any young kids running around in the back garden will need supervising
- You won’t be allowed to smoke at this property!

About the surrounding area of Casa SalmarPuerto Pollença was an old fishing port in beautiful Pollenca. As it was an old fishing port, it retains some of its old-time traditional aspects which you’ll be quickly exposed to on a stroll through the town. You’ll find a great collection of cafes and restaurants, and if seafood is a favourite of yours, then you’ll be in great company here.
Puerto Pollença has beautiful sandy beaches for you to explore, and the atmosphere, on the whole, is laid back, and friendly, families and couples return time and time as it remains a favourite with them! From the horseshoe-shaped bay, you can see the stunning Tramuntana mountain range, which was recently declared to be a world heritage site – their beauty is spectacular.
Nearby you have Alcudia which is one of the most visited destinations in Majorca, with its history, charm and gothic revival architecture. It has plenty of magnificent, scenic sandy beaches for you to explore stretching several kilometres giving your party ample space to explore, some even offer great places to snorkel (not all of the beaches that can provide this activity will have the equipment to hire).
For the families or the kids at heart, there is the Alcudia Hidropark with a water golf course, water slides and pools. You may also pursue the streets of Alcudia for their open-air street markets and sample the food they have to offer.
No matter what you are looking for in your holiday, you’ll find something here for everyone in this beautiful part of Majorca.

THE REGION
The vibrant northern town of Alcúdia is truly a year-round location, offering life, history and culture throughout all seasons. Lying just one kilometre inland from the famous holiday resort of Port d’Alcúdia, it’s the ideal place to taste rich Mallorcan heritage without having to stray too far off the beaten path.
The pedestrian area offers inviting restaurants, cafés with beautiful terraces and cosy backyards, handicraft shops, stylish boutiques and Mallorcan specialities. Stroll by medieval houses, the proud town hall and the so-called Casas Señoriales, the majestic houses of past nobility. Here and there, you get a glimpse of one of the big, shady patios and time, and again you reach the outer rim of the town wall.

At the villa, there is plenty of space for them to relax and occupy themselves with the addition of the large television with access to some English channels.
There is also the private pool that they can splash and play in, with supervision. The rear garden offers a great opportunity for picnics or games outside, it provides a great time for spending time with the kids.
