Deluxe Cap Falco has been masterfully built into the cliffside over three levels. The ground floor is home to three heavenly havens where guests will enjoy the sleep of kings on comfy beds and wake in the morning to fabulous panorama. Each of the bedrooms enjoys an immaculate, contemporary ensuite bathroom with the very best of fittings. The top floor, making the most of the stunning sea views, is home to a fabulous open plan living space and the last bedroom, again with a sleek, stylish ensuite bathroom.

The living space is very inviting and extremely spacious. It enjoys a fabulous beamed ceiling that catches your eye and reaches up to a double height aspect, creating a cavernous feel. You will discover a very comfortable lounge area with a feature fire and lots of squishy seating, row upon row of book shelves and a display of musical instruments. It is utterly charming and feels very warm and welcoming. Tucked around one corner is an office space, perfect if you need to catch up on some emails and another corner is home to a delightful and wonderfully equipped modern kitchen. This is a lovely sociable space where the chefs in your group can be kept company by others perched at the breakfast bar. Doors open to the terrace.

The terraces are located on different levels. They are all stunning and beautifully furnished. You will find two choices for alfresco dining, a barbecue, alfresco lounge areas and on the lower level your stunning pool. This is surrounded by deluxe loungers, a lush lawn and swaying palms. It is a lovely spot where you can relax, enjoy the sunshine and pick up your holiday book. The villa is totally private and enveloped in mature plants and trees. Deluxe Cap Falpo is nestled on the cliffside with direct sea access in the wonderful, tranquil resort of Cala Vinyas. This special corner of Mallorca offers visitors the chance to enjoy a diverse holiday experience from lazy days on knockout golden sandy beaches, to visits to the trendy capital or hikes or cycles in the mountains. Visitors discover tiny inlets, sweeping bays and sandy coves, all lapped by crystal clear turquoise waters. There are sweet smelling pine forests, jagged mountain peaks, swirling roads and hidden hamlets. Just north of Cala Vinyas, the peppy duo of Palma Nova and Magaluf are known for their neon-lit bars and bass pumping nightclubs.

Palma, this island’s cosmopolitan capital, is rich in culture, entertainment and gastronomy. It is a true stunner that dates back to the 13th century Christain reconquest of the island and to the Moors, Romans and Talayotic people. Palma boasts a seemingly endless array of historical sites, galleries, restaurants, bars and studios. Medieval streets are brimming with aristocratic houses, looming Baroque churches, a fabulous Gothic cathedral, bustling public squares and plenty of markets. The Santa Catalina neighbourhood is a good place to start with a delicious breakfast before popping in to Palma’s oldest food market, El Mercat de Santa Catalina. You will discover works by Picasso and Miro at the wonderful Es Baluard Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and can climb the stairs to the decked terrace for a spectacular view of the 800 year old Cathedral La Seu. Shiny flagstone streets will lead you to the designer Passeig des Born with the luxury labels of Louise Vuitton and others. The pedestrianised Calle Sant Miquel is one of the main areas for shopping with eclectic independent shops lining the narrow side streets. La Ruta Martiana is a popular tapas route to enjoy the city’s delicacies. The list of gastronomic restaurants is endless. The nightlife in Palma is amazing with entertainment at the Teatre Principal and plenty of jazz and cocktails.

For a totally different kind of day you can head for Puigpunyent on the slopes of the Tramuntana Mountains. This beautiful town is surrounded by pine and oak forests and almond and carob groves. You can visit one of the family run vineyards and enjoy lunch in a picturesque setting of unrelenting beauty and tranquility. The Puig de Galatzo offers walkers a challenging but rewarding climb with breathtaking views. La Reserva Puig de Galatzo offers 2.5 million metres of unspoilt countryside to explore. Puigpunyent enjoys a number of local cafes serving traditional cuisine and tapas. The town plays host to many festivals during the year including a music festival that takes place mid August.

THE REGION

The picturesque town of Calvià, with its relatively small number of shops and cafés, feels like a lifetime away from the coastal resorts that fall within its municipality. The town of Calvià is an attraction in its own right. The historical feel and ancient architecture provide enough of a draw to attract thousands of visitors every year. Many of the buildings date back to the 17th century.

Calvià’s central location on the southwest of the island makes it an ideal base for exploring the many surrounding resorts, bays, and mountains. Andratx and Puerto Portals are just a couple of the bigger resorts easily accessed from Calvià. While Magaluf, Santa Ponsa and Paguera will also be familiar to many visitors to the area.

Deluxe Cap Falpo offers a wonderful family holiday. The villa is very spacious and enjoys a wonderful swimming pool. The separate apartment should not be used for small children but maybe perfect for teens or young adults.

The Parc Natural de S’Albufera is the largest and most important wetland area in the Balearic Islands. The park lies within the municipalities of Muro and Sa Pobla and affords protection to some 1708 hectares of marshes and dunes. You can obtain a visitors permit from the visitors centre which is free. It is wonderful for bike rides, hiking and birdwatching expeditions. Birdwatchers come from all over Europe to see rare migrants such as Montagu’s harriers and Eleanora’s falcons. Species breeding there include stonechats, moustached warblers and the long-eared owl. Ospreys leave their breeding sites on the cliffs to come to the reserve to fish. There is an audio visual display room where you can listen to the birdsong.

Palma boasts a delightful aquarium with all sorts of fish and underwater life to enjoy. The Big Blue is a very deep shark tank. Visitors will take an adventure though the Mediterranean, Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans to the sound of classical music whilst enjoying the 8000 specimens. A must see is the Gothic cathedral where you can enjoy the lofty ceilings and intricate work by Gaudi. You can walk the city walls to get a good view of the cathedral. There are two playgrounds in the shadows of the cathedral and plenty of pedestrianised areas in the city. The Parc del Mar sits below the cathedral and across from the seafront. Children love the horse and carriages that take visitors around Palma.

A very popular trip is the Palma to Soller train. Visitors take a beautiful ride through the scenic mountains on a vintage train to the quaint old town of Soller. In Soller, children love the ice creams in the main square and hopping on a vintage tram to the picturesque Port de Soller with its promenade, beach and seafood restaurants. If you head to Bellver Castle, you will enjoy astonishingly beautiful views across the Bay of Palma as well as visiting the majestic circular castle perched above the city.
