What you should know…
- While the villa is in an excellent location, a car will be needed in order to reach amenities and attractions
- Air conditioning is set on a timer to come on between the hours of 2pm to 4pm & 8pm to 8am
- In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

About the surrounding area of Cala GarbaSituated just beyond the charming old town of Pollensa and a short drive from the serene sandy coves of Cala San Vicente and the expansive beaches of Puerto Pollensa, Cala Garba is an excellent choice for those seeking accommodation beyond typical tourist hotels.
Pollença, nestled in the northeastern part of Mallorca at the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains, is an appealing town with captivating architecture, including the iconic Calvari steps. Steeped in history, the town boasts notable landmarks such as the ancient Roman bridge 'Pont Romà,' the Mare de Deu dels Angels church featuring a renowned rose window, and the Convent de Sant Domingo.
The adjacent port, Puerto de Pollensa, lies to the north and boasts one of the area's finest beaches, accompanied by numerous bars and restaurants. The port also offers water sports, a children's water park, and a golf course just outside the town.
To the north of Pollensa is Cala Sant Vicenc, a smaller resort with three beaches – Cala Molins, Cala Barques, and Cala Clara. The dramatic, hilly landscape with rugged cliffs and rocks has led to the development of excellent restaurants, tapas bars, and useful amenities due to its popularity with visitors.
Heading down the coast, Alcúdia features a large marina serving as a departure point for boat trips to Menorca and the Spanish mainland. Regarded as one of the most attractive towns in the region, Alcúdia invites exploration of its historic center, a visit to the open-air market, and a glimpse of Spain's smallest Roman amphitheatre.
Inland areas offer many beautiful spots, including the Natural Park S’Albufera, the largest of its kind in the Balearics. Pollensa is easily accessible, with Palma de Mallorca Airport approximately 60km away.

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.
