As you step indoors you’ll notice instantly that attention to detail is key in this luxurious villa. That’s why both the doors and wooden beams that run throughout the property have been bought from old country houses and restored. That’s why only the finest, most unique and interesting furniture, paintings and accessories have been installed in each room. And that’s why the property is equipped to give you the ultimate freedom.
First, within the garden: luxury loungers line the pool, while large, cosy sofas sit under the beautifully crafted terrace, ensuring your comfort both in and out of the fiery Mallorcan sun. An outdoor kitchen area and dining table, alongside a stunning indoor dining room and well-equipped kitchen allows you further choice of both location and style of meal, from the electric oven, to the wood oven, to the barbeque – it’s all about choice. A private pool and jacuzzi sit centre stage in the indulgent garden, looked upon by the beautiful terrace sleek summer chairs from which you can admire the surrounding mountains and even the sea!
Within the wonderful main building itself you’ll find a large hallway, living space with great fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen and one ground-floor double bedroom (with ensuite), and upstairs a further three double bedrooms, also all equipped with bright, pristine ensuites. A further guesthouse comprises another double bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. Utterly modern with a traditional approach, this property ensures you can relax in style and comfort.
And when it’s time to explore nearby, you’ll find the beach, harbour and nearby towns full of bars, restaurants and markets are all just a stone’s throw away!
What you should know…
- One of the bedrooms is located in a garden guest house and while this may suit grandparents, it is less ideal for small children!
- Car hire is strongly recommended for stays at La Casa de Madera
- The private swimming pool is unfenced so little ones should be well-supervised when playing in the vicinity

About the surrounding area of La Casa de MaderaPollensa is the picture perfect district of Mallorca, regarded as the cultural centre of the north of the island! When people picture Mallorca, they might not know it, but often what they’re picturing is Pollensa. Endless sandy beaches and roads lined with palm-trees set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. The diverse landscape, from fertile valleys to steep mountains and gently undulating hills and of course the beaches which seem to stretch endlessly to the horizon, is just one of the reasons that so many great artists have chosen to call this island home throughout the last century.
Just 3km away, the town of Pollensa itself will certainly provide your fill of authentic Spanish culture – 17th and 18th century houses, cobbled, winding streets and traditional markets every Sunday! Cafés, bars and restaurants are scattered in amongst traditional shops and large sections of the town are pedestrianised.
Top tip: the viewpoint from the Calvario is an absolute must, if you can manage the climb!

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.

Tax | Balearic Eco Tourist Tax of €2.20 per person per night for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid locally in cash on arrival. |
Insurance | Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, loss of personal belongings, personal liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay. |
