Overview
Villa Frondega is a unique, charming property. It was refurbished from a traditional Spanish Finca and is still full of the character and charm of its past. The alluring property is located a few minutes’ drive from the town of Pollensa. The owners have dedicated a long time in decorating and restoring the house to give it a modern touch in a totally rustic and traditional atmosphere. The villa has been lovingly restored to give it a totally rustic and traditional atmosphere, combined with modern day comforts to form a wonderful holiday destination.
From the main terrace, a wooden door gives access to the interior of the house. The spacious living room consists of wooden beams on the ceiling, ceramic floors and traditional furniture, all with the aim of making the stay more relaxing. The lounge area is attractive and is fully equipped with sofas, armchairs, TV and DVD, and a fireplace. In the back of the lounge you can find another rest area and a toilet. The kitchen is very well equipped and has an outside exit towards a covered terrace and pool area. All of the three bedrooms are located on the top floor, with a master double bedroom en-suite and two further twin bedrooms that share a bathroom. All of the rooms have air conditioning for your comfort.
If you’re a fan of outdoor cooking then the lovely barbecue kitchen area, and large terraces will be perfect for you! With plenty of room for al-fresco dining, you can try your skills at some Spanish classics and enjoy a glass or two of the delicious variety of Balearic Island wines. The private swimming pool is Roman in style and is surrounded by a well-kept lawned garden from which you can admire the different fruit and floral trees around.
Villa Frondega is ideal for families who want to spend a pleasant holiday in an authentic Mallorcan finca totally restored.

- In order to make the most of the surrounding towns and beaches, we would recommend a car
- In late July each year, the Moors and Christians Festival takes place in Pollensa with a week of festivities culminating in the carnival on the 2nd of August. During this period visitors can expect loud music and celebrations into the night, especially on the 2nd of August.

About the surrounding area of Villa FrondegaPollensa has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, situated inland from some of Spain's finest sand beaches. The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area, but be warned that to get to the top you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it and the views definitely do not disappoint.

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.
