The villa has three bedrooms: a double and a twin upstairs, both with air conditioning, and a single bedroom downstairs. There is a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower upstairs and an additional shower room on the ground floor.
Outside, you’ll find a spacious area to relax, with covered terraces, a barbecue area, and a dining table with chairs. The large lawn provides plenty of space, and the swimming pool, with Roman steps, is surrounded by shrubs and hedges, offering a private spot to enjoy the summer. Also nearby is the Oratory of Roser Vell, a historic 14th-century chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Rosary. This Baroque-style chapel is a significant landmark in Pollensa. THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesVilla Gosp offers a great base for kids to explore the town of Pollensa while staying close to the property. Pollensa is rich in history, perfect for curious young minds. Just a short walk from the town center is Placa de l’Almonia, a small square with ties to European history. This spot was once home to a house that cared for the town’s poorest citizens in the 16th century and was the site of a significant battle in 1550. Every August, a remembrance ceremony is held to honor those who defended Pollensa.
The Pollensa Museum is also within walking distance and showcases a variety of unique art pieces. The museum, built between 1588 and 1616, was officially founded in 1975. It offers visitors a chance to explore the town’s history through its collection of art, and entry is free for everyone.
A bit further away is the Joan March Gardens, a large public park with a wide range of trees and plants. Founded in the late 1980s, the gardens were created to honor the first-born son of the wealthy March family. Open 24 hours a day, the gardens provide a peaceful place for children to explore nature.
