Location
About the surrounding area of Villa XotiVilla Xoti is based just a stone’s throw away from the centre of Pollensa, giving guests the prime opportunity to explore this region with curiosity and ease. If you wish to detach from the hustle and bustle of normal life and reconnect with the wonders of nature, a trip to the Joan March Gardens is a must-do activity. These gardens were first formed in the late 1980s as a way to commend the life of the March family, who famously helped this sleepy town transform into a bustling hub of economic activity. Throughout your time at this attraction, you will come across a plethora of rich horticulture, including an abundance of slim cypress trees, which can often be seen on the town’s traditional coat of arms. The Joan March Gardens are situated just under 10 minutes away from the villa.
Alzinaret Caves is an incredibly alluring landmark that can be found just 10 minutes away from Villa Xoti. These structures were first discovered by acclaimed British archaeologist Wilfred Hemp back in 1927 but actually date all the way back to 1600 BC. Thus, this is a fantastic attraction to visit if you wish to marvel at a diverse selection of artefacts and deepen your understanding of the intricacies of the Middle Bronze Age. In turn, guests can use this experience to meander through a collection of structures and delve into a fascinating underworld. It should be mentioned that there is a collection of benches based outside the caves for those who do not feel comfortable about entering inside.
The Pollensa Museum is an incredibly detailed establishment that is best known for showcasing the mesmerising work of Atilio Boveri. However, it once houses a premium selection of ornate Gothic altarpieces. These pieces were so beautiful that they even received a ton of praise at the prestigious Summer Exhibition of Painting back in the 1960s. The museum finally opened its doors to the public in 1975 and quickly became a staple part of the European contemporary art scene. An added bonus of this attraction is that it is free to enter, making it an ideal activity for those travelling on a budget. The Pollensa Museum can be found just under 10 minutes away from the villa.

THE REGION
Pollensa, in the north of the island, is an ancient town of attractive narrow streets and an impressive main square, lined with cafés, restaurants and bars, and is just a few kilometres from Port de Pollensa.
The town has several places of interest to visit, including the Roman bridge, signposted ‘Pont Roma’, which is still in use, and the Puig de Pollensa – a small mountain topped by a monastery just outside the town. Here we provide all the information you want to know to make the most of this relaxed yet culturally satisfying inland town.
Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesPollensa is also packed full of family-friendly attractions, making it an ideal holiday destination for families who wish to rekindle their sense of adventure. For those eager to discover more about this area from a much more personal perspective, you must take a trip to the Pollensa Market. With over 300 stalls to examine, you will come across a wide variety of artisan items, such as handmade bags, clothes, and jewellery. Thus, this is an excellent place to visit if you are looking to purchase a few off-beat souvenirs to show off back home. This market also boasts a diverse selection of fresh produce, meaning that guests can pick up a few ingredients to use in their own cooking back at the villa. Pollensa Market is situated just over 5 minutes away from Villa Xoti and welcomes guests every Sunday from 8 am to 1:30 pm.
Puig de Maria is a deeply idyllic and significant religious landmark that can be found around 5 minutes away from the villa. Perched on top of a looming 330-metre summit, this 14th-century monastery was once regarded as a phenomenal shrine to the Virgin Mary. Despite its far-reaching history, this monument was forced to close in 1564 and did not reopen until 1638. Thus, guests are encouraged to explore every element of this expressive landmark and deepen their connection with the religious roots of this area. Many previous guests have also noted that is only takes around half an hour to complete this journey, making it an accessible hike for most guests.
One of the area’s most significant landmarks is Formentor Lighthouse, which is located just under an hour away from Villa Xoti. This thought-provoking structure was first crafted in 1863 as an intuitive way to shield small fishing boats from the jagged rocks that reside at the base of the shore. Alongside its rich purpose within this area, it is also regarded as a key source of inspiration for prolific figures such as Gerardo Diego and Blas de Otero. In turn, this is a must-visit attraction for those looking to experience a wealth of amazing panoramic views from an entirely new perspective.

Fantastic!!
The Villa is set in its own substantial grounds, a great size pool, lovely outdoor areas for relaxing including barbecue area, large lounge with log fire for those chilly evenings.
3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms.
Location is great being just a short drive to Pollenca and Porto pollenca.
Set in a quite rural area with chickens, Donkeys, horses, goats and piglets nearby. -
Superb villa
All aspects of the villa are superb. Right from the moment you drive in through the large iron gate, up the long drive, past all the lovely flowers and garden. When you walk in the front door you are greeted with a superb interior, living room, dining room and kitchen. There are three generous bedrooms and three generous bathrooms.
The outside space (front and rear) is magic. The pool is wonderful and the space to play with children is amazing.
For cooking the kitchen is the best equipped we have ever had in a villa. There is also a fantastic BBQ.
A wonderful place to stay, feels like you are in the middle of nowhere (there are a number of villas in the vicinity), but you are a short drive from the beach, Pollence and lots of adventures. -
Beatiful villa
Our second stay at this villa. We think the villa is amazing and is just perfect for our family holiday. Gorgeous villa set in lovely, well cared for gardens. Pool a great size and depth, and view from the veranda and seating area stunning. Really well stocked kitchen, which is great as we did lots of cooking and had all the cooking utensils that we needed. Location is great for Pollenca and trips to the beach in Puerto Pollenca. Kids loved the lime tree and amount of space around the villa to explore. Villa tastefully furnished, and was really clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back!
