THE REGION
Arena D'en Castell is located on the northeast coast of Menorca, within an easy bus ride of other towns to visit. Arenal den Castell is the fourth most prominent resort on Menorca and is on the eastern side of Menorca, where most of the island's attractions are located.
The bay at Arenal d'en Castell is as close to a near-perfect horseshoe as you can get. The headlands on the waters' horizon close in so much so that you think you might be standing by a large saltwater lake. While some areas behind the beach have been developed, the varying ground height levels mean it's more natural than it might first appear in photographs. The eastern end of the resort and beach is more naturally intact with wooded areas and sand dunes and is where most of the private villas and apartments are located.

Best Suited For: All AgesCasa Son Saura’s location makes it an excellent base for family-friendly adventures. Just a short drive away, the Arenal d'en Castell beach offers shallow, calm waters perfect for young swimmers, along with plenty of space for sandcastle building and beach games. The nearby Na Macaret fishing village provides a quieter setting for exploring the shoreline and enjoying local ice cream by the water.
For an exciting day out, head to the Splash Sur Menorca water park, about 30 minutes away, featuring slides, pools, and play areas suitable for all ages. Animal-loving children will enjoy a visit to Lloc de Menorca, a small zoo where they can meet native and exotic animals up close.
Explore nature trails at S’Albufera des Grau Natural Park, offering easy walks and opportunities for birdwatching. With so much to see and do, children will be entertained and enchanted throughout their stay!
