THE REGION

The quiet and idyllic resort of Binibeca is a very popular smaller resort on the beautiful south coast of Menorca and is a perfect choice for holidaymakers wanting to escape the noise and crowds of other more developed areas. You will not find any skyline-destroying hotels or large holiday complexes here, most accommodations being in private villas and apartments.

Today, Binibeca stretches 3 km along the coast and includes the original ‘Binibèquer Vell’, or an old portion, as well as the new portion of ‘Binibèquer Nou’- a natural progression with many of the homes and villas in keeping with the original design. At the very eastern point of Binibeca, you will also find Cala Torret, a small village which feels separate but is actually part of it.

Kids

Best Suited For: All Ages
Ideal for Kids Ideal for Teens

A holiday in Menorca is a great choice for families travelling with children. The island has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere with a captivating charm - and plenty for kids to see and do. The villa itself has a fantastic pool with plenty of space for splashing around and lots of areas to relax and enjoy some downtime. The lawn is perfect for kids to roam free and play together within the safe confines of the villa.

Binibeca beach is just 500m away - kids will adore strolling along the powdery white sand and swimming and snorkelling in the crystalline waters. They might even spot some exotic fish or a shipwreck. The beach is safe and perfect for families, as it is not too busy. However, the sheer variety of beaches on offer on Menorca means they could try a different beach every day if they like! A boat trip from Mao harbour is a great activity for children of all ages - some even have glass bottoms, so they can see the marine life beneath the sea.

A day at a water park is always popular with kids - close to the villa is the largest on the island, Splash Sur. This aqua park has something for all ages - thrillseekers can try out the black hole drop or the jaw-dropping Kamikaze ride, while little ones have their own shallow activity pool with water jets, fountains and mini slides. Everyone will have a great time tubing on the lazy river and playing on the pirate ship, complete with water cannons.

The locals of Menorca love horse riding - the coastal path around the island is called Camide Cavalls, which translates to 'Way of the Horses'. The black Menorquin horse is indigenous to the island - kids can go on horseback trails, or take a pony ride at a stable.

The adventure playground in Castillo Menorca is bound to keep active kids busy - there are zip lines, a swimming pool and sandpits. Climbing frames and trampolines add to the indoor fun - and there are plenty of shops that adults can explore while the kids have fun.
