About the surrounding area of Casa ArpoCasa Arpo can be found in the idyllic region of Binibeca, a location that is well known for its affluent and relaxed atmosphere. Binibeca Vell is a small village that was built between the late 1960s and early 1970s and helps to capture the picturesque nature of the entire region. Although this area contains less than 170 houses, the whitewashed nature of these buildings helps to transport guests into a utopian paradise. Guests are encouraged to travel along the cobbled paths and looming archways and explore what this charming village has to offer. There is also a collection of bars and restaurants located within this area to ensure that guests do not go hungry during their travels. Binibeca Vell is located just over 5-minutes away from the centre of the region.
If you are looking to discover more about the far-reaching nautical history of this region, Illa de l’Aire Lighthouse is a perfect landmark to visit. This iconic monument was built between 1857 and 1860 and was used to protect the plethora of fishermen that resided in the surrounding areas. In addition, this tower was once the tallest lighthouse in the Balearic Islands until it was replaced by the Moscarter Lighthouse in Ibiza in 1977. Guests can explore this monument in-depth and learn more about how this quaint town operated during the turbulent times of the 19th century. In order to visit the lighthouse, guests must embark on a small boat trip to Illa de l’Aire. These trips usually depart from Punta Prima, which is around 10-minutes away from the centre of Binibeca.
Cami de Cavalls is a spectacular hiking trail that allows guests to uncover a wide array of tourist hotspots as well as a few hidden gems. This extensive path spans 185km and travels across the immense coast of Menorca. Guests can customise their tour in a way that best suits them, making it a very accessible journey for a majority of guests. You also have the chance to bask in a variety of landscapes, such as Cala Galdana and Cala Marcarelleta. In turn, this is an ideal activity for guests who are looking to explore all of Binibeca’s beauty from an entirely new perspective.

You will not find any skyline-destroying hotels or large holiday complexes here, most accommodations being in private villas and apartments.
Today, Binibeca stretches 3 km along the coast and includes the original ‘Binibèquer Vell’, or an old portion, as well as the new portion of ‘Binibèquer Nou’- a natural progression with many of the homes and villas in keeping with the original design. At the very eastern point of Binibeca, you will also find Cala Torret, a small village which feels separate but is actually part of it.
