The living area is spacious and comfortable, with large sofas to lounge on. Keeping everyone entertained won’t be a problem, with a choice of TV, games and Wi-Fi available during your stay. The villa comes complete with a bbq, and there’s a large pool where guests love to spend hours topping up their tans on the sun loungers. You’ll be surrounded by high trees and greenery so privacy will be no issue here.

Each bedroom is simple, tasteful and colourful, and two of the bedrooms can be used as twins and come complete with ceiling fans. A lovely double bedroom looking out onto greenery completes the set and comes with air conditioning. The villa also features two tiled bathrooms with touches of marble, and both come with a bathtub.
The villa has been equipped with family friendliness in mind. A cot and a highchair are available for the smaller members of the party, with additional cots and highchairs available for a charge of € 5 / night per set.

Location
About the surrounding area of Casa AlejandroThe southeast coast of Menorca has plenty on offer, and Binisafua has a slow way of life, allowing visitors to explore the surrounding region at their own pace. It’s instantly recognisable as Menorcan thanks to its charming whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and it has a delightful small beach with calm waters, which are perfect for families.
A five-minute walk from the village will take you to Es Calo Blanc, where you can spend a morning snorkelling in the clear blue waters or swimming off the rocks. A ten-minute walk will take you to Cap d’en Font. This small bay, complete with white sands, sweeps around a rocky cape before eventually opening up to the vast expanse of the Mediterranean sea. Accessible platforms and steps are dotted along the coast so people can safely enter the water, and the area is popular with swimmers. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can head off the beaten track and seek out the tiny hidden cove at Cala Biniparratx. There are no facilities here, so it’s BYO snorkel and simply enjoy the uncrowded waters.
Driving east for ten minutes will take you to the larger resort of Binibeca, a popular day trip destination with a fascinating history. The town was dreamed up by a Spanish architect in the 1970s to attract bohemians and artists to the area, and the result is winding labyrinth streets around Greek (yes, Greek!) style buildings with whitewashed facades and wooden balconies. The pretty fisherman’s village of Binibeca Vell is also home to Playa de Binibeca, which is accessible from the road through a small pine forest. The fine sands and clear waters have earned it a coveted Blue Flag status, and its popularity during the summer is a testament to how lovely it is.
Taking a day trip to Menorca’s capital, Mahón, is essential for anyone basing themselves in Binisafua and wanting to see more of the island. Take a stroll around the old town, browse the fresh fish market, hit up a gin distillery or take a boat ride around the harbour. And you mustn’t leave without trying traditional Mahón-Menorca cheese. Its’ protected status means it can only be made with milk from the island. Truly a unique gastronomical treat!

THE REGION
The mellow island of Menorca drums to a slower beat than siblings Mallorca and Ibiza, and therefore perfect if you’re looking for a holiday of rest and relaxation. The easternmost Balearic Island is lined by some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean: long swathes of powder-fine sand give way to rocky calas (bays) lapped by pale blue waters.
While you’re enjoying one of our fantastic villas in Menorca you may well want to explore everything else the region has to offer – so we’ve put together this handy travel guide to give you a little help and inspiration!

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesQuieter than its neighbouring Balearic islands and blessed with sandy beaches and clear, shallow water, Menorca is a great family destination.
Head over to Cala Galdana for a day trip. The forty-minute drive will reward families with one of Menorca’s most popular beaches. Its stunning Caribbean style waters earned it Blue Flag status, and visitors marvel at the surrounding natural beauty of limestone cliffs and pine trees. Hire an umbrella and a pair of deckchairs for €20 a day whilst the kids explore the coastline by kayak or by boat trip.
A one hour drive will take you to the Aquarock waterpark at the other end of the island. It’s not just known for water amusements! There’s a restaurant on the complex for mums and dads whilst the kids tire themselves out on the waterslides and the wave pool. Menorca only has one wave pool on the whole island, and this is it! For the very young family members, there’s a pleasant kid’s pool, and there’s also go-karting for high-speed craving fun and an adrenaline rush.
A twenty-minute drive away is Lloc de Menorca, a small zoo which is home to a number of species native to Menorca like horses, cows, goats, tortoises, fish and birds. Kids love to spend hours here feeding the goats and macaque monkeys, and the zoo also has exotic international reptiles and birds. It also has a wetlands area and a forest of lemurs! The zoo provides an interactive experience where kids can touch and hold animals and also feed them. With a museum, a play park, and a picnic and barbecue area, the zoo really does have something for everyone.
A forty-minute drive to the west side of the island is Castillo Menorca which offers a large garden with a playground and swimming pool, a restaurant, zip wires, sandpits, climbing frames, swings, trampolines and an impressive go-kart track. Castillo Menorca is an outlet shopping centre, so there’s plenty here to keep everyone busy for the day.

A wonderful week
A fantastic villa in a great location. The pool was ideal especially with a 2 year old who gained so much water confidence during our stay as half the pool was a paddling pool. Lots of toys and entertainment for the little one and a great little beach nearby. We had a wonderful week and will definitely be back soon. Thank you!

Highly recommended
The house was located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Everything needed (like towels, cooking supplies etc.) is provided by the owner. The house was clean and the owner came and even changed sheets and provided new towels after a week. Great! The pool is huge. The Garden was clean and spacious. You might see a cat walking around and enjoying the shade in the garden. We stayed with five people and there was enough space for everyone. Multiple good restaurants are located nearby. The beach is 10 Min walking distance away and a snorkeling bay is 12min away(no sand just stones but amazing clear water, great for snorkeling). However, the airport is located only 10km away, therefore occasionally you will hear and see the airplanes landing/starting. (Depending on the day and time) Great place for a family to enjoy their time in menorca, highly recommended.

Lovely villa and pool at a great location. The quiet little bay 2 minutes drive away was perfect for children. Easy access to excellent local food shop and restaurants. Would stay again.

Nothing negative to say
5 stars for everything :) We truly had a wonderful time at the villa. We were travelling with 6 people and 1 baby. The villa is only 10 km from the airport and easily reachable by car or taxi. Situated on top of a small hill, you have a wonderfull nice view to the ocean while chilling at your own , large swimming pool. Really cool! The villa has a spacious garden with lots of trees, grass and sometimes cats strolling around. Ideal for children or just to relax. It's a very quiet neighbourhood. To the beach it's between 5 and 10 minutes walk. There are also 2 restaurants around in town. Be aware that it's a very small town. You will definetely need a car to get around to other places. Not sure if there's a bus. We saw a bus stop in town, but never a bus. Maybe because of the easter holidays. Rental cars are very cheap, something like 70 euro per week and driving is super easy, roads are very good. So don't mind to rent a car :) But back to the villa. Everything you need will be provided: linen, towels, soap, etc. you even get a starter pack with some wine, water, coffee, etc :) For people with children / babies, the house is very good. There is a big box with toys in the living room you can enjoy playing with. A baby / child chair is also provided. Johannes and Mamen were always reachable und answered all questions within minutes. Nothing negative to say, we definetely will come back :)

Lovely villa
Lovely villa in a quiet area with all mod cons you need and thoughtful touches like a welcome gift and big pool towels provided. The owner met us rather than the agency and she is very nice, pointing out toys for the little ones, sorting out the high chair and the cot for our baby. TV had a setting where you can revert programmes back to their original language so could get some kids cartoons for the witching hour. Great pool area: half the pool is waist height so perfect for the kids. A cat and a tortoise live at the property outside . Property is on the flight path as many are in the area but this didn’t bother us.

Don't hesitate to stay here
My family of three, including our 22 month old son, had a great week staying at this beautiful villa. The property is well kitted out with all the amenities and equipment, including washing machine. It is also child friendly, with stair gate, cot and high chair provided as well as many toys and a paddling pool. Our son loved it. So helpful that one end of the pool is shallow for toddlers. A lovely welcome gift was given on arrival and we were also informed about local eateries, including take away options. The hosts were brilliant and always quick to respond if we needed anything or had any questions about the area. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're looking for a peaceful location that is near plenty of beaches and that offers you a truly relaxing break.

Very well equipped
A beautiful villa in a peaceful location. Lovely big, bright rooms. Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and warm (the nights are still chilly this early in the year). Plenty of towels etc. It had everything we needed for our fortnight here. The pool is great for children with a shallow end. Communication from the host was excellent. Will definitely revisit.
