La Casita Menorca

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at La Casita Menorca! I have never stayed anywhere so magical - the house is gorgeous and situated in the middle of Menorca's biosphere reserve, with breathtaking views. Being fully immersed in nature was such a treat and quite otherworldly! There is huge terrace from which you are able to see both rolling green hills as well as the lake and the beach. It is so quiet and the perfect place to unwind and disconnect - the pink skies followed by the stars at night are really something else! The house itself is lovely, everything is spotless and there is such a special vibe here. It's both cosy and light and feels really homely. There is a big, chemical-free pool as well which is not to be missed, and everything is solar powered. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay, be sure to make Casita Menorca your destination!

What can I say. Alot actually. The journey from the small, relaxed, calm, friendly and easy to navigate airport, felt like a journey onto a vast film set. Èpico (epic) in scale and style, at times ancient and historical, at times futuristic, with touches of Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Spielberg, Walt Whitman, to name but a few. A film set requires a director. We, my wife and I looked around for one. We stood on the veranda of La Casita Menorca waiting for someone to shout action. It took a few moments to realise that we were the directors. This place is magical. There is no rush here. Except for the warm, grounding, gentle rush of positive, sparkling energy. Even if you wanted to rush, you couldn't, it's impossible. The island of Menorca won't let you. The house itself, and I use the word it-self purposefully, because the villa has it's own unique personality. This personality has been created by the wonderful host, Trish, and whatever your tastes are, everything feels like it has been created for you. That was our experience. Everything works. The swimming pool is glorious with a choice of sun or shade in which to relax after a swim, and everywhere you look, both inside and out, pleases the senses. Eases the senses. Every part of the house has a relaxed feel to it, but the veranda and the view from it are spectacular. We ate all meals out there and stayed long after we finished eating. The bedrooms on the lower level were cool, calm and comfortable. Mahòn, a nearby town is bursting with style and class with an abundance of cafès and restaurants serving up a wide variety of culinary dishes. The kind of place you expect to see Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant walking by, hand in hand, in love. The local beach, cafès and restaurants are very accessible, small, quiet and welcoming. To sum it up, La Casita Menorca, is a little piece of paradise where nature keeps you company, with many beautiful walk literally on your doorstep. Menorca has been a protected Biosphere Reserve since 1993, thanks to the great variety of habits it comprises. La Casita Menorca is in the heart of the reserve. Trish, the host has managed to create a space that radiates creative beauty, grace and comfort. We cannot wait to return to the embrace of the beautiful sounds and smells of nature and the pure comfort of this eclectic home. Wonderful Memories made.

Total change of scenery. Nature as far as the eye can see. A cozy casita and matches the photos and description. Everything is beautiful and wonderful at Trish. A place nestled in a well-deserved nature park. You have to agree to live with reasonable comfort in water and electricity, but it''s done effortlessly, like a sailboat cruise. The airport is 15 minutes away, traffic can sometimes disturb the tranquility of the place. Despite this,we had a magical stay at Trish who knows how to take care of her guests. I highly recommend this place.

When my two girlfriends and I booked a stay here, located in the absolute paradise of a Unesco Biosphere reserve, we were certainly not prepared to be as astonished as we were by the house, pool or terraces with breathtaking views of the S'Albufera d'Es Grau Natural Park. La Casita Menorca can best be described as a bohemian chic and fully equipped home from home in the most awe-inspiring location. This is certainly not your average characterless and soulless holiday rental and it is notable that this is Trish's home in the off season. The love and attention to detail that she has paid to the property to make sure her guests have the most wonderful and stress free stay really has to be commended. Having breakfast on the front terrace whilst spotting wild peacocks, eagles and cows in the rolling green fields right in front of you or catching a dreamlike sunset at dinner was worth the stay alone. Preparing meals in the most equipped kitchen a holiday rental has ever seen was a pleasure in itself! Our afternoons were spent lazing around the charming pool on sun loungers and day beds. You have total privacy here with no close neighbours. It is SO quiet. We all said we had the best sleep ever and were totally refreshed for the next day. Being our first visit to Menorca, we reluctantly dragged ourselves away to the capital of Mahón (10 mins away in car) and were again surprised to find a buzzing metropolitan with a plethora of boutiques, bars, restaurants, adorable squares with cafes filled with very friendly locals and tourists alike. It was such a pleasure to stay at La Casita Menorca and we are already planning our return for next year!

We had such a wonderful trip to Menorca and loved every single minute at La Casita Menorca To be able to stay this close to nature was just incredible. All the eagles!! The house is really gorgeous, its so bright and airy and the pool is fab!! No chemicals in the pool was a real treat and we spent many long lazy days there. All the little details were well thought about, from the sheets to the towels. The kitchen is amazing, to be able to cook looking out at those views is incredible. The stars at night is a sight to behold! Trish was such a warm host and we literally cant wait to return to La Casita Menorca.
