This stunning five-bedroom villa which sits impressively among the Menorcan countryside has a fabulous, spacious garden with a large pool and an assortment of luscious trees and plants and provides the perfect space in which to relax and unwind.

Entering the house there is a light and airy hallway leading to the open plan living space. With a number of comfortable sofas, a fireplace useful for the cooler months and a variety of traditional furnishings - we love the typical Menorcan vibes of this room, in particular the huge dresser and decorations! There are large glass doors leading to both the garden and the interior of the house, allowing the flow of light and warmth to permeate the entire villa! The kitchen, equipped with all the latest mod cons, is similarly spacious and traditional and also enjoys direct access to the terrace area – so whether you choose to dine inside or out, it’s all equally easy!

On this ground-floor there are three twin bedrooms, one of which enjoys an ensuite bathroom, and all three are very light, airy and spacious. There is also a garage, utility room, cloakroom and additional bathroom on this floor. The entire first-floor is given to the master bedroom which benefits from a full ensuite bathroom, a dressing room and a beautiful terrace which allows light to flood into the room and provides beautiful sea views! The final bedroom, with two single beds, is in the annexe, along with a kitchenette and a shower room. The annexe is self-contained and all on the ground-floor, making it highly suitable for grandparents, or those seeking a little more privacy. All the bathrooms are finished with beautiful traditional Menorcan touches.

The house also includes a large games room in which you can play table tennis or work up a sweat on a choice of exercise machines, allowing you to maintain your fitness without leaving the house, giving you more time to enjoy your holiday!

The garden area is vast, both in the open air and on the wonderful covered terrace area, which includes a large dining table for alfresco dining, a relaxation zone with sofas and chairs, and a beautiful built-in barbeque area! Beyond this, the lawn expands away from the house and the large pool can be surrounded by an array of supremely comfortable sun loungers, with a choice of style!

All of this is located in the very centre of the south-east tip of Menorca, putting you a stone’s throw from both the beautiful beaches of the south coast and the fascinating capital of Mahon!

While the property does not offer air conditioning, there are fans available for just €2/night, and a fabulous pool in which to cool off!

The fabulously isolated location is great for privacy but does mean we highly recommend car access to truly make the most of your stay, with limited other transport options available

With such proximity to the airport, some noise is expected from the planes overhead

The Balearic island of Menorca is the quieter, unspoilt version of its big sisters Majorca and Ibiza.

While it is partly known for its traditional summer fiestas, which take place in different towns around the island all summer long (with origins dating back to the 14th century!) it’s really the place for those who enjoy a calmer, slower pace of life.

Aside from its traditional fiestas, Menorca is better visited for its white-sand bays such as Pregonda and Cala Macarella, clear, turquoise water and more gentle activities like walking, cycling or horse-riding. With a coastline punctuated by beautiful coves and a landscape awarded the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status, strewn with ancient stone monuments and an estimated 70,000km of dry-stone walls, this is an island for the nature lovers, and anyone looking for a little rest and relaxation.

Within the south-east corner of Menorca, this fabulous villa is in the perfect location to explore the stunning Balearic island, with innumerable beaches and coves nearby: Binisafúa beach is just a 2-minute drive, and Binibeca just 10! The capital town of Mahon is also just 15 minutes away and makes for a beautiful day of strolling, with many narrow pedestrianised streets and historical sites to visit, as well as plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants.
