Your private pool takes centre stage, with separate spa facilities for your health and well-being. For peace of mind, comfort, and entertainment, Villa Aden is on a secure site with private parking, complimentary air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and an in-house sound system. This unique three-storey villa is built of a mixture of traditional stone and classic Mediterranean white-washed walls, with floor to ceiling glass windows and sliding doors that flood the property with natural light and cooling sea breezes. The interiors have been meticulously designed for maximum impact and many styles. The villa is furnished with natural hand-crafted wooden furniture, eastern-style hand-carved four poster beds, and decorated in a subtle palette of sophisticated creamy dreamy beiges, with reams of billowing white curtains.
Enter the villa at the ground floor level, where there is a welcoming holiday home of light and airy open plan living, with floor to ceiling sliding doors that open onto the terrace. The main seating area has two super large beige sofas arranged around wooden coffee and side tables, facing a flat-screen smart television and an enclosed fireplace for those cooler months and evenings. The adjacent round dining table and the carved wood sideboard is the perfect spot for some impressive indoor entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cater for your holiday, including an oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher, and that must-have morning coffee maker. Six incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, dream-like double bedrooms are distributed throughout the property. The bedrooms are exquisitely dressed, with queen size four poster beds, stunning sea or garden views, various terrace access, separate seating areas, and ensuite ultra-modern bathrooms with walk-in showers.
Several balconies and tiered terraces throughout the property, all elegantly fully furnished with wood-carved soft seating and superb sea views, perfect for watching the sunrise and planning the day. Floating staircases take you to the step-entry swimming pool, long enough for a few exhilarating lengths and inviting enough for an afternoon cool-down dip. Cream-cushioned wooden sun loungers with matching shady parasols are strategically scattered by the pool and garden. A Jacuzzi bath and classic Finnish-style wood sauna will sweat your cares away. Follow the white stone path to tour the seven thousand and three hundred and fifty square metres of grounds before sipping sundowners at sunset and admiring the panoramic sea views. Eat alfresco under an Aegean sky in the outside dining space, with Turkish delicacies freshly grilled on the barbeque, and raise a glass of raki for the most memorable holiday.

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa AdenVilla Aden can be found near the charming original fishing village of Yalikavak on the northwest coast of the beautiful Bodrum peninsula, where the Greek Aegean meets the Turkish Mediterranean Sea. The villa is a fifty-two kilometre, sixty-minute drive from Bodrum International Airport; get there by pre-bookable limousine, taxi, or the frequent and reliable local public transport system. The village of Yalikavak is a short two-minute walk away; here, you will find supermarkets that can provide you with everything you will need for your holiday. Make sure you don’t miss a market day, Tuesday for produce and Thursday for homewares. The village is full of fashionable cafes, bars, and restaurants, where you can take a pit stop from all that spending in the glamorous designer boutique shopping mall. Yalikavak, Tren, and Dona white sandy beaches are all close by, family-friendly, with organised facilities, sun loungers and shady brollies, and easy entry to crystal clear waters to the Aegean Sea. The six hundred and twenty-berth Yalikavak Marina, with a flotilla of luxury yachts cruising the Med, is worth seeing. A day at the local Edition Beach Club with your sun lounger cocktail bar service is a must-do. For some adult beach club vibes, try Xuma in Yalikavak with its Chill Out Festival and no young children policy Take a walk to the Kudur peninsula, where there are the Panormus rock caves, climb the backdrop hills to see the old windmills, or take a trip to the nearby abandoned village of Sandima with its old stone houses.
The peninsula is populated with original villages, such as the laid-back fishing harbour of Gumusluk and the relaxed Gundogan, with their flower fields and orange and lemon groves. The bay of Turbuku is home to a beautiful beach, lots of fabulous restaurants and bars, and a place to spot the rich and famous. The town of Bitez plays host to a weekly market every Thursday, selling home-grown fruit and vegetables, freshly caught fish, locally pressed olive oils, honey from the farmer hives, and souvenirs to remind you of your stay; it’s all very bazaar. Every Sunday, there is a flea market, where you can find Turkish bric-a-brac to take home and visit the old Greek orthodox church with its famous dolphin mosaic. Start your holiday with a scrub and clean at the nearby Bitez Hamman, the best way to prepare for a super tan. The bay of Bitez has a beautiful half-moon sandy beach with a mountain backdrop; pre-book sun loungers and shady brollies, sample the water sports and windsurfing, relax in a hand-woven hammock, and refresh in one of the many cafes and bars. If it is fun and frolics in the sun you are looking for, go south to Gumbet, a lively cosmopolitan resort with buzzing bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, beaches, pubs, and nightclubs. Some seriously good beach clubs populate the peninsula, the oldest is Sarnic, where you can bathe, swim and surf, or you may fancy the buzzing Buddha Bar and Beach Club with its international live music concept and evening entertainment. Push the boat out and hire a yacht with your captain for a lazy day at sea, sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling, or set sail on a shared one departing every morning from the harbour.
Go southeast, and in twenty-five minutes, you’re in the cosmopolitan town of Bodrum, with the impressive St Peter’s fortress, an Underwater Archaeology Museum, and a Maritime Museum, not to mention the great shopping and fabulous food. Adventure further afield to see some authentic Turkish delights. Well worth the journey is a trip to steep yourself in history at the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ephesus and the impressive library that is still standing. Lose yourself in the cotton clouds of the incredible geological magic of Pammukale, and bathe in the life-enhancing Cleopatra’s bath. And if you feel like going Greek, nip on the ferry that takes you from Bodrum to Kos and all its ancient sites in only half an hour.

Kids
Best Suited For: All AgesThere are lots for kids to do and see when you stay at Villa Aden, starting with your private swimming pool with easy step entry, and as there are no set hours, they can play and splash all day. The villa also has secure stone wall grounds and lawned gardens where your children can play. The family-friendly Yalikavak Beach is just a few minutes' walk away from the villa; its white sands, easy entry to crystal clear waters, and organised facilities make a great day out. Yalikavak hosts Y-Kidz, a club for children aged three to twelve years in York Marina, with a timetable of different and exciting activities throughout the week. All aboard for a day of family fun from the harbour, ride the waves and take a Rib Adventure out to sea. No trip to Turkey is complete without a family day at sea; push the boat out and hire a private yacht with your own captain, or join one of the many shared boat trips departing from the marina.
The peninsula has many organised, family-friendly beaches; take your pick from Gumusluk, Gumbet, or Bitez and Bodrum. Bitez Plaji is renowned for being family-friendly, with fine sand, sun loungers and parasols, easy entry calms shallow crystal clear waters, water sports, including a fabulous fun banana boat, and lots of cafes and bars. Flamm beach is also noticeably both family and pet friendly, with two piers and a cool breezy setting. Enjoy discovering hidden bays and secret coves where you can swim with the fish and learn the art of snorkelling. Take to the seas on the Bodrum Barracuda for scuba and snorkelling, or submerge yourselves in Oscar, the local submarine and see the sea from under the water. Splash out in the Pirates Inn Aquapark, nine slides of fantastic fun for the entire family, slip down the waterslides and play in the pools. If they dare, take the plunge down the three-storey, five-hundred and thirty-four metres Navigator water slide, taking them through dark holes to land in a pool. Take to the top of the water with an adventure as they can tackle the local rivers on a raft. If the surf isn't their thing, try the turf with the Countryranch Equestrian Sports Club at Turgutreis, where your children can horse ride over sandy dunes, learn about dog training, follow excursion trails, or play in the children's playground. For your older children, an adrenalin jeep safari is just the thing; race around the area with a chance to see traditional villages and the local flora and fauna. Take advantage of a day at Fun Town Yashi Park in Ortakent, where there is something for all ages, including children's playgrounds, horse riding, go-karting, paintballing, table tennis, and competitions.
A day trip to Bodrum is well worth the thirty-minute drive. Visit the medieval castle of St Peter's built by the Knights of Rhodes, wonder at the ancient shipwreck ruins in the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, and admire the craftsmanship of eighteen sailing crafts at the Bodrum Maritime Museum. Make a day of it at Rabbit Island in Gumusluk, walk through the one-metre water to dry land, take a hike to the top for some stunning sea views, and most of all, remember to feed the rabbits. Whilst you are there, take a look at the ancient city of Myndos, with its ruins of Christian churches, Roman roads, artefacts, and monuments.
