About the surrounding area of Villa AjnurVilla Anjur can be found between a backdrop of mountains and the azure seas, on the slopes of Marinhill Vistaport, near the tourist town of Turgetreis, on the beautiful Bodrum peninsula, on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. The villa is situated sixty kilometres from the international Milas-Bodrum airport. The small luxury villa concept has its own spa facilities, a shared lounge area, a children’s playground, and a concierge team. The nearest beach of Soytas is within walking distance, with a sandy shore and crystal clear waters.
Turgutreis is a popular holiday destination, with over five kilometres of sandy beaches, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine or participating in a whole host of water sports and activities. Inviting waterfront restaurants and bars make for romantic evenings, and a busy marina welcomes yachts and international guests docking in from all over the Med and Aegean. The town hosts a weekly market selling home-grown fruit and vegetables, freshly caught fish, locally pressed olive oils, honey from the farmer hives, and souvenirs to take home with you to remind you of your stay. Four large supermarkets can fill your fridge and provide for your pantry for the duration of your stay. Get your culture kicks at the three local art galleries, visit the mosque, join the yachting fraternity at the Turgutreis Sailing Club, all aboard the Viking Boat for a day out at sea, saddle up and ride your pony at the Horseback Riding Club, or simply slip off your sandals and relax at one of the many beach clubs that line the sea shore.
Further afield, just thirty minutes drive north, is the original fishing village of Yalilavak, which offers a range of fun family activities, an impressive marina where you can marvel at some seriously amazing superyachts, and a marble shopping mall to rival Milan, selling all your favourite designers and brands, as well as your own personal shopper as an optional extra! Go south, and in fifty minutes, you’re back in the cosmopolitan town of Bodrum, with its ancient fortress and financial centre, not to mention a whole host of activities and day trips that can take you further afield and discover the real Turkish delights. Take a trip and steep yourself in history at the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ephesus, lose yourself in the cotton clouds of the incredible geological magic of Pammukale, or if you feel like going Greek, nip on the ferry that takes you from Turgutreis to the island of Kos.

Best Suited For: All AgesThere’s so much family fun when you holiday on the Bodrum peninsula. Starting with Villa Anjur and the fantastic infinity pool, and as there are no set hours, they can splash and play all day. The villa is part of Marin Hill Resort, which has a dedicated children’s play area, and a concierge team to arrange outings.
Villa Anjur is located near Turgutreis, which boasts a five-kilometre sandy beach, perfect for a family day by the seaside buildings, sandcastles and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Or why not go out to sea in one of the many private hire or shared boat trips from the marina, enjoy a day out discovering hidden inlets where you can snorkel and swim with the fish. If the surf isn’t their thing, try the turf with the local Horseback Riding Tour, gallop over dunes, or take your time and trot into town.
A thirty-minute drive away is the town of Yalikavak, just north of Turgetreis and still on the coast, where all the family can get aboard the Rib Adventure and ride the waves, take to the seas on the Bodrum Barracuda for scuba and snorkelling, or submerge yourselves in Oscar the local submarine and see the sea from under the water. Yalikavak also hosts Y-Kidz, a club for children aged 3-12 years in York Marina, with a timetable of exciting activities throughout the week. Splash out in the Pirates Inn Aquapark, fantastic fun for all the family, slip down the waterslides and play in the pools. Take to the top of the water with an adventure as you tackle the local rivers on a raft – but do wear a swimming costume, as you’ll get wet!
If water isn’t your thing, pile into a jeep and take a safari, race around the area, with a chance to see the local villages, nature’s flora and fauna, and have an adrenalin rush. After all that, get super-duper clean at the Turkish baths and experience an authentic hammam – warning it does include lots of lovely soap bubbles.

Travelling to Turkey
All British (and most other nationalities) citizens require a full 10-year passport with at least 6 months validity to enter Turkey. UK passport holders are exempt from visa for tourist visits of up to 90 days within 180 days starting from the first entry date. For all other passports please visit the Turkish Government Website or the Turkish Consulate for details of whether you require a visa or not.
Whilst in Turkey local regulations require you keep your passport and a printed copy of your e-visa with you at all times.

Would Recommend!
The house is really suitable for large groups, the views and areas of use are great, there is a lens on the middle floor where you can watch the inside of the pool, and I think it was a nice detail that showed the pool backwards.
The two issues I can say as a shortage are that the maximum temperature of the sauna was a little low to us and we had a little trouble with the hot water, but as soon as we told Spring, he offered to send a technique, but at that moment, we turned the offer back on, then when the air conditioner was conditioned for another reason, the hot water improved after turning on the conditions again.
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND the house. -
5 Star Plus!
If there was an option for a 5 star plus, I would have given it to Bahar and the villa. The location is just few min walk from DMarina and has a breathtaking views of the sea and the Marina. The sunsets over the nearby island are just spectacular. The infinity pool was pleasantly warmed and very clean. The villa has everything one might need, the daily breakfast was delicious and served exactly on time every day. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The host, Bahar, is one of the most friendly and kind people I have ever met and responded to every question immediately. She knows everything about the area and not only, her recommendations were always great. I can recommend her and her place happily and we are definitely coming back.
