Gaze out towards the glistening sea as you relax on your vast decked terrace at this stunning contemporary villa with a private swimming pool located on the Bodrum peninsula just a short drive from some lovely beaches.
Cascading down the hillside, Villa Ferdi is an impressively designed holiday abode sleeping up to 12 guests across its main house and annexes. Starting in the main villa, guests can lounge across the open-plan living and dining space with designer furnishings, art work and floor to ceiling windows opening out to the spacious terrace and swimming pool, framing those vistas of the Aegean.
Guests can expect state-of-the-art appliances in the stylish open kitchen whilst a Bang & Olufsen sound system allows you to listen to music inside and beside the swimming pool. This part of the villa is also home to the master bedroom with a super king-size bed, air-conditioning and adjacent bathroom with walk-in shower and sauna. To add to the high-end amenities, a brilliantly equipped gym is located behind the house.
An annexe next to the main house and swimming pool houses another three air-conditioned bedrooms (and two shower rooms), two of which feature king-size doubles. A third bedroom is currently home to a crib but can be converted into a single bedroom if required.
Connected via a wooden pathway and steps, the second annexe can be found lower on the hillside. This unique wooden guest house has a living-dining and kitchen space with yet more Gaggenau appliances and a gorgeous terrace facing the sea. Steps then lead down to two individual bedrooms, each with en suite shower rooms.
Almost at the highest point of the hill, a study annexe also awaits for moments of relaxation whether you wish to work from home or make the most of the sound system as you chill out on the terrace with panoramic views.
The verdant surroundings allow you to truly unwind with the most beautiful gardens and scenery. Yet you are not too remote either, just a short drive to the amenities of Gürece or less than 3km in the other direction towards the coastline of Yahşi Beach with its summer restaurants and shops. A little further is the iconic Camel Beach or continue along the peninsula to Turgutreis for its vibrant Saturday morning market and idyllic sunsets.
Heading east instead, visit the likes of Bitez and Gümbet before reaching Bodrum town with its bougainvillea-clad lanes, artisan shops, waterfront restaurants and incredible historic sites from the ancient tombs of Halicarnassus to Bodrum Castle with picture-perfect views of the Aegean sea.
What you should know…
- Set across a steep hillside, the six bedrooms are scattered across the main villa and its two annexes. Please see the photos alongside the ‘Layout’ tab for further information.
- One of the bedrooms in Annexe I currently has a crib in it, however it can also be converted into a single bedroom on request.
- Air-conditioning is featured in four bedrooms only (and the study) - please see the 'Layout' tab for details.
- Due to the hillside setting with various levels, steep steps and terraces, Villa Ferdi is not suitable for young children or guests with restricted mobility.
- The two caretakers live on site in the staff quarters (near the main villa).

Location
About the surrounding area of Villa FerdiOn the Bodrum Peninsula, Villa Ferdi enjoys stunning sea views from its secluded, hillside setting just a short drive from the coast below. The heart of Bodrum is only 13km away whilst the airport is less than an hour by car.
It’s just over a 5-minute drive to Ortakent/Yahşi Beach, a long stretch with summer sun loungers and parasols to hire as well as clear water for swimming and snorkelling. Continue along the beach towards the attractive marina and discover restaurants with tables set up by the water’s edge. In the other direction by car, the iconic Camel Beach awaits with its sandier shores, choice of summer watersports and camel rides.
The picturesque resort of Bitez is just over a 10-minute drive away with its markets, shops, café and restaurants, also not far from bustling Gümbet, famed for its lively bars and cosmopolitan vibe. By contrast, you are also not far from the remote Akvaryum Koyu, a much-loved beach and hiking spot accessed only by boat.
In the other direction, drive west along the peninsula towards the attractive town of Turgutreis (9km), so loved for its vibrant Saturday morning market and stunning sunsets. Boat trips are a wonderful way to tour the peninsula and visit many of the idyllic islands in the Aegean sea.
Spend the day in Bodrum (12km), a vibrant town with ancient sites and bustling markets alongside artisan shops, hammams and so much more. Wander its charming bougainvillea-clad lanes before walking down to the marina and dining at one of the fantastic restaurants, some overlooking the waterfront. The town’s ancient tombs at Halicarnassus are one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and don’t miss the incredible ruins of Bodrum Amphitheatre. Another popular tourist sight is the 15th century Bodrum Castle from where you can appreciate amazing views of the Aegean sea.
For a day trip even further afield, ferries depart Bodrum to the Greek island of Kos for yet more archaeological sites or stay closer to home and spend the day sailing along the coast on a traditional gulet boat that lines Bodrum’s harbourfront.

Best suited to older children, guests of all ages need to be able to safely manage stairs and the steep grounds with the accommodation cascading down the hillside.
It’s a short drive to Ortakent/Yahşi Beach and Camel Beach for seasonal shops, restaurants, beach cafes, camel rides, watersports and glorious long beaches with sun loungers to rent. You can also visit the popular seaside resorts of Bitez and Gümbet for family-friendly beaches and water-based fun. Furthermore, look out for a wealth of boat trips across the peninsula (including pirate excursions and traditional gulet vessels lining the harbourfront in Bodrum).
Indeed, Bodrum will enchant you with its fascinating history and culture. Visit the ancient tombs of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and step back in time at Bodrum Castle with its glorious vistas. The Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology is a must for young historians.
Turgutreis offers horse-riding opportunities, boat tours and yet more great beaches as well as idyllic sunsets. Even closer to home, discover tennis courts within a 5-minute drive and Funtown Yahşipark for a range of outdoor sporting activities, paintballing and go-karting.
