The spacious villa is set over two floors with a double bedroom – featuring a furnished balcony and the circular Jacuzzi – and twin bedroom, also with a furnished terrace and those stunning mountain views. The décor is modern in style with white and creamy interiors and playful pops of colour in the soft furnishings.
From the fully-equipped open-plan living, kitchen and dining room you can directly access the pool terrace where the large swimming pool steals the show. The surrounding terrace has a day bed, sun loungers, cushioned chairs and coffee table for you to while away the afternoon in comfort. There’s also a shaded area with table and chairs and barbeque for effortless al-fresco dining.

What you should know…
- Islamlar village is quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for a party house, another villa would probably be more appropriate.
- The village has many charms, including the call to prayer and the cockeral crowing at dawn!
- The villa is in a small cluster with Villas Mart, Subat & Mayis, so they can be booked together. They have been sympathically built so none are visible from each other once inside or by the pool.

About the surrounding area of Villa NisanThe friendly Turkish village of Islamlar lies in the foothills of the towering Taurus Mountains on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. The incredibly beautiful area offers a compelling combination of a peaceful, utterly unspoilt terrain with the convenience of being close to the lively town of Kalkan. The villa is in a countryside spot, yet is close to local restaurants and shops for picking up essentials.
In the centre of Islamlar (or its surrounds) you can get an authentic insight into traditional rural Turkish life. Explore the olive groves and vineyards or head to one of the famous trout farm restaurants with locally-sourced ingredients and beautiful views down the valley. The villa is also close to parts of the Lycian Way Trail – a wonderful walking route that traverses the coastline.
A fifteen-minute drive from Islamlar will take you to Kalkan, an old fishing town and harbour between Kas and Fethiye. It’s famous for its white-washed houses, descending to the sea, and its brightly coloured bougainvillaea flowers. Dine on a roof terrace restaurant or bar with wonderful views of the town or while away the afternoon at one of the many harbour-side restaurants.
There are plenty of beaches in the area including Kaputas Beach and Patara Beach. Both have cafes, sun loungers and sunshades. You could also leave Kalkan harbour on a wooden gulet (classic Turkish sailing boat) to experience the full beauty of the coast. For an exciting cultural day trip instead, you could visit the sunken remains at Kekova. Boats go there from Kas, a 30-minute drive from Kalkan.

Islamlar
Islamlar sits 8 km above Kalkan. Once the place Kalkan folk went to cool off at one of the trout farms built to make use of the mountain’s springs. Today Islamlar houses many a villa, enjoyed by Istanbul Turks who prefer a holiday in slightly cooler and cleaner air. Here the locals grow grapes and pomegranates, but you’ll mainly see the men sat gossiping next to the local teahouse. The trout farms remain a place to come for a wonderful fresh meal, or a breakfast consisting of fresh local fare. The rocket will be the freshest & most tasty you’ve ever had; and the fresh chips cooked in olive oil take some beating.

Best Suited For: All AgesSet in a peaceful countryside landscape with mountainous views, Villa Nisan is the perfect place to enjoy nature with children. The villa also has its own private swimming pool, and shaded spots in the garden area – all enclosed by a wall – perfect for younger children to play safely and in sight. Designed for privacy the pool has a retractable roof so no need to send the children inside during the midday heat, they can play in the pool with the roof shading them.
With a fantastic selection of waters ports including scuba diving and snorkelling opportunities in the area, this part of Turkey is ideal for keeping children occupied and happy. There are lovely beaches including Kaputas Beach and Patara Beach, and the more toddler friendly pebble beach in Kalkan.
Kalkan specialises in historic sites with a range of intriguing ruins nearby that promise a great day out for the kids. You can also jump on a boat to explore the coastline and stop for swimming. In the cooler months, families can go mountain-biking or horse riding in the Taurus Mountains.

Travelling to Turkey
All British (and most other nationalities) citizens require a full 10 year passport with at least 6 months validity to enter Turkey. Superb villa!
Superb villa! Near Kalkan in the beautiful countryside nearby, we spent a dreamy 2 weeks here with the family. Everything is there, infinity pool with valley view, smell of pines and cicadas noise, private gym, steam room and sauna. The villa was very clean with possibility of intermediate cleaning without charge. There were groceries waiting for us even when we arrived. In short we recommend Villa Nisan, if you are looking for a calm and luxurious stay, go here!

A short and just great week!
The villa is really nice and above all very modernly furnished. In addition, I personally liked the sports equipment, the sauna and especially the hammam. The water in the pool is nice and refreshing and I was very satisfied!

Spacious villa!
Villa with magnificent quiet and uninterrupted sea and mountain views inside and outside the villa. The sunset view is absolutely gorgeous. The villa is spacious, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Jacuzzi, gym, Turkish bath, sauna, heated pool in your bedroom are ideal for a large family. The orientation of the villa makes the morning breakfast an absolute delight in summer without direct sunlight and the evening barbecue during sunset is a magic. The local manager of the villa is nice, helpful and open to questions. That's why it's highly recommended! I had a great vacation! Thank you!

Fine and big houses!
The houses are fine and big, their equipment is more than adequate. Sauna, haman, sports equipment top quality. The most important thing was the constant attention and kindness we saw. It was very impressive that they immediately took away even a few shortcomings that were our fault (we asked for a second vacuum cleaner, a toaster even though it was a toaster). They brought it brand new within 1-2 hours. Thank you very much!
