1. Dive off Golfe-Juan
Golfe-Juan is located between Antibes and Cannes. At the small locally run 5* PADI dive school you can book half-day or full-day trips and see what lies beneath the glittering blue sea. Diamond Diving is located two minutes from the train station and also easily accessible by car.
If you decide to spend the rest of your day in the town itself, you can sample local fare at the highly recommended Bistro du Port, famed for its fish and excellent service. Stay at the Villa Mirabelle to enjoy the quiet of the Riviera villages, only a 20-minute drive from Cannes.
2. Cycle around Nice
Swot up on your history as you cycle around Nice with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Open to anyone who can ride a bike, you’ll be able to see much more than you would by walking or from a tour bus. Take it a leisurely pace, stopping to sample some local cuisine along the way, before enjoying the vibrant nightlife come evening.

3. Hike to Eze-sur-Mer
Take the train or the bus from Nice to Eze-Sur-Mer and walk up the well-signposted Nietzsche Path. The hike takes about an hour and fifteen minutes when walking at a fair pace, but the views and various shops all the way up and down the trail are so worth the workout. Make sure you visit the botanical Jardin d’Eze before you leave!
